Can I possibly put negative stars?? At that banner bank would land a solid -5. This bank is the absolute worst, never in my 41 years of life have I been treated so poorly due to the lack of training given to their own staff. With no remorse given I have been blamed for a mistake made by a teller and treated like a thief while my own funds are being held against my will. Funds I was provided by the state of California to take care of my rent I was not able to make during Covid. I have waited a long time for this to come thru. And now after jumping thru all the hoops, being scolded for something I was not only assured would be fine but totally honored, but I am given another timeline that will not be before the court date I have to determine if I get to remain at the residence I have lived at for 5 years. Not only that but I certainly feel that the tact used face to face with this branch was unprofessional, curt, almost threatening in fact I am still blown away with the demeanor and tone I was assaulted with. So if what u want is to have ur money taken and dangled in front of u and taunted by an imaginary carrot that above all else is based off ur reaction to a bank made mistake, then ur in the right place. I would never recommend this bank I would never speak high about anything happening here. This place is horrible take ur money and run. I hope when I lose my house banner can look my kids in the eyes and let them know that this happened because they could not provide adequate training to staff, and an unwillingness to apologize or correct a situation that will ultimately now result in my family's homelessness. I am disgusted by the raw indecency this bank has treated me with, shame on them.

Moving my accounts today. I've been with them 3 years and wanted a 90 day load for 500 and they wouldn't even talk to me. Going back to a real bank or taking his suggestion a credit union.

They’ll charge & make you count your own change & even have you set it up to be organized in a coin tray; Then CHARGE YOU a paper statement fee $2 . I’d understand more so about the fee if they sat there & counted everything themselves; as it charges like a coin machine; yet the fact that they made me count my change then proceeded to charge me is absurd. They’ll give a quick tutorial of where things go . Hand you the tray . Then say random things about how everything is going . Isn’t this a bank ? Where is the customer service. Are they really not going to even offer to help count the change after the money has been placed on the table ? ALSO , YOU CAN NOT DEPOSIT CASH DIRECTLY AT ANY A.T.M.’S IF ANY OVERDRAFTS FEES COME UP Y.O.U WILL BE CHARGED $30 EACH TRANSACTION. depositing the cash the following business day or even after the weekend on Monday ;since they’re closed over the weekend ; asking them if they can wave the fee because none of A.T.M’S across the city are allowing cash to be deposited into the banner bank account.Yet putting in a different bank card will allow you to deposit cash in that same A.T.M machine so it is indeed not a A.T.M malfunction. They said they would request a refund regarding these occurrences yet of course , Never got reimbursed . I also do not see any reimbursement deposits for the A.T.M withdrawals which was the whole purpose of opening an account with banner bank thinking it’s more flexible going to any A.T.M to then be supposedly reimbursed. False. This bank is also not even approved for half the apps out there. **UPDATE**After posting they decided to drop the last $30 overdraft fee & make it into a $30 return item fee instead . This doesn’t make sense! Seriously what is this. They told me I was going to get my money back after paying the first overdraft fee; they lied.
