I would never go to the Valley Marketplace in Reseda. I found the workers there including the mangers insulting and rude. Their produces prices are over .50 cents higher than their competitors like Aldi and Super King Market. The last time was there I noticed that they water down some of their fruits and veggies that are sold by pound, when I brought it to the worker that was doing this he said "then don't buy from here." When I brought it to the female manager attention she pretty much said the same thing. so I am going to take their advise and never shop there.

This review is for Valley Marketplace, located at 18345 Vanowen Street, Reseda, CA, 91335. There seems to be more than one Yelp page for this store, so I wanted to be specific. This is a large grocery store with a lot of foreign items. I come here occasionally when I'm in the area to buy my favorite Babaganosh. There are many options for produce, ethnic foods, fish, meat, snacks, frozen foods, cleaning supplies, alcohol, condiments, and more. The store shares a location with other stores such as kosher meat stores, eyebrow threading, each repair business, and more. Please check the expiration date of each product you buy here. They have such a large selection of foods from different countries that makes it easy for them to forget to take expired food off the shelf. No self-checkout but the staff who works the cashiers are pretty fast. Free Parking in the front of the back.

Prices are generally pretty good. But Beware of the guy in the deli section. He's pretty much a douche and will charge you more than it cost. Such as, if you're not paying attention he will give you twice as much as you wanted. And he's very unfriendly, like a jerk actually. I didn't catch his name tag but it began with an M

Love the butchery....everything so fresh, ox tail, lamb, goat meat, seafood galore! This place sells both Middle Eastern * Indian items. Bulgarian yogurt - simply the best! Pickles, unique jams, frozen yucca, roti, Jews mellow and of course the yummiest ice cream flavours.....pistachio & rose. It also has a fantastic selection of fresh produce. Their specials offer a tremendous savings. The regular prices are also still lower in comparison to other stores. Its an adventure shopping here. It also has its very own Cafe with amazing food, freshly made plus a beautiful bakery.

This is a large Middle Eastern grocery that carries Iranian, Arabic, Indian, Israeli and like items. It is located in an indoor plaza that has a separate bakery, threading/beauty salon, kosher butcher shop, and a few other shops. A few minuses: The prices are about $1, 2 higher per item than at other similar grocery stores like Jons or Super King. This was consistent across dry goods, fresh produce, etc. The meats section had a lot of good and varied items (like goat cubes), however you have to wait in line to get meat packaged - they do not have a separate section with prepackaged meats. The deli is the same way and was operating very slowly such that I left because it was taking way too long to make an order. Overall if you are in the area and need specific items, this may be a good place, however, the prices are high and there were some inconveniences that would prevent me from shopping here regularly.

I have been a loyal customer of this grocery store for quite some time. However, despite the fact that their prices are higher than the average for other stores, unfortunately, their customer service is very poor. Today, after expressing my concerns to the store manager, I didn't receive a satisfactory response.

I went in to purchase Indian flour (swarna fresh chakki atta) that was on sale for $12.99 on Tuesday, 9/26/23, around 7:20 p.m. I didn't find it on the shelves, so I went up to ask the manager if they had any in stock. He was like, I can take the other atta flour available for the same price but only 1 because they can put limits on customers when there's no limit written in the ad. I took one to the register and told the cashier that the manager said I could get this for $12.99. She's like, Yes, it's already $12.99. She didn't have to manually adjust the price for the substitution. Then I said to her, Can I get another bag? She checked the weekly ad to see if there was any limit, which there wasn't, and she gave it to me. After I walked out of the store, the manager came after me to say I told you one. He started to yell. I told him I also thought the cashier had to adjust the price, but it was already ringing up at $12.99, so he didn't do me any favors. That guy has a mad attitude and smiles at the same time. Like it's his store and he's the owner. No respect

Good store for produce and specials. Convenient having Tesla chargers in the parking lot too so I do most of my shopping for produce and charge there. Some items can be over priced but the sales are usually good enough to bring me in.
