“An appreciator of the creators, players, and innovators at Paper Hero's Games - a small board game, comic book, novelty collector and table game shop, including trading card [Pokemon, Star Wars Unlimited, Flesh & Blood, etc] + role playing [like the classic D&D]. I've stopped in to check out the inventory and collections, which is super limited on the comic side, okay for graphic novels, but truly excels at Table Top games. The people are beyond friendly and I do recommend checking it out. I've gotten gifts for friends and a new game or two. PHG has grown and changed over the years becoming a super social card collector, player and topside gamer spot with events as well as tournaments. It's no purchase for entry to play games. Someone on duty might be right up front or getting their Loracna on... a newer growing Disney based trading card game. Their Facebook or Instagram being the place to keep up with the latest, not to mention their sibling stores near Sawtelle, Los Angeles, Santa Clarita and a new (coming soon) location in Huntington Beach. Parking is a small share lot with Nat's Early Bite Coffee Shop, Gift Worx, Oswaldo Lifestyle Fitness, and a few others in this Burbank [Blvd] Plaza mix. Way more parking options on the street with few restrictions [some 2hr limits].”
“I had them repair and make a few custom beaded necklaces for me and they did a careful, thoughtful and beautiful job. Very much curated collection of exquisite beads. I didn't see anything in the store that I thought was low quality. Got a ton of compliments on my necklaces made by this bead shop. Good customer service and reliable. Finished the necklaces in the time frame as promised.”
“This has been my go to place for all my bird concerns! I absolutely love this neighborhood store. They have everything you need and great prices, especially with the membership they offer. Customer service is outstanding. I especially want to thank Joe for always helping make decisions about bird feeders and food, and for being so kind in helping me carry stuff to my car. He really went the extra mile. I love coming here! Really recommend this store to everyone!”

“Great shop with great people. Customer service is top notch, are willing to give deals, have great selection from vintage to new, and have even bought a card from me at a ver fair price. If I didn’t live an hour away and had the opportunity to go more than just when I visit family, I would. Employees take the time to talk to me and my girlfriend, have a great selection, and the owner is a cool guy. My girlfriend isn’t asking me to leave after being there for 4 minutes, which should say a lot to all of you who drag better halves with you to card shops!”
“Traditions Christmas Shoppe is the absolute best place for Decorations. Especially Halloween. Even though it's called a Christmas Shoppe, it has all Holiday Decorations. Many Vintage, which I love. I placed an order over the phone. Their merchandise is superior. Well made, very detailed and arrives at your door quickly. The Associates that take your order are always nice & go out of their way to help you. I will shopping at Traditions often. It's also a Family Business. It's all good. Great place for Decorations.”
“I've been coming to the bead lounge for a few years now, and I just have to say, these women have made me feel like family. I have taken several classes, from learning how to make a basic bracelet, to now wire wrapping, and I'm the kind of person who needs to watch, and ask questions, and needs the person teaching me to go slow, and explain things. Each one of these women has made me feel so comfortable. Now aside from that, sometimes I come in just to get inspiration. Sometimes I get stuck on what to make next, and I'll walk in and no joke, I am approached with a hug either from the owner Bari, Taylor, Naya or Sky, and asked how I'm doing and what they can help with. They have an incredible selection of beads, charms, chains, clasps. I've looked at several other bead stores in the area when I was first getting my feet wet in making jewelry, and it's obvious that Bari cares about what she wants in her store. The quality of her selection is truly unmatched. You can just see and feel the difference. I'm a forever fan of the bead lounge, and I know when I go in, I will always be welcomed and helped in any way they can provide.”
“I love this store! There are so few like it left in this Amazon world we live in, and their prices are so reasonable! They've been around forever, and I was so grateful they survived COVID. They have a little bit of everything and provide services like knife and scissor sharpening and they making keys as well - you can't even get keys made at Home Depot anymore - in this age of service-less stores, they now have a machine and you have to do it yourself - which may or may not work. The people at Knife Trader are so fair and honest that when I brought my cuticle scissors in for sharpening, they told me they didn't even need it! They could easily have just done it and charged me and I never would have known the difference. It's a blessing when you get to deal with good, kind, honest people. I highly recommend this neighborhood gem!”

“Michaels has everything you will ever need in way of arts and crafts. They have classes to teach you things from painting to making a wreath. They are full of ideas. You can always find all sorts of ideas and craft packages for kids to make. I was in a rut because I ordered a bunch of crafts from a company for my Sunday School students to make. No one seems to sell religious arts and crafts in stores but I found them at Michael's. It wasn't big selection but I was grateful to find what I did. I actually met the late David McCallum there picking up some crafts. They have sketching, painting, floral, candles & candle making kits. They have gemstones and findings for making jewelry, wood crafts for painting as well as Canvasses. It's really wonderful just how much they have. All the personnel know about everything you need to find and make something and how to do it. Michael's makes the world a better place.”
“Because of my creative nature, MICHAELS is the place. Got a black widow spider in my car. Very friendly worker introduced me to aromatherapy fragrances that drive spiders crazy and make them leave your vehicle. Spider is still spinning the webs in my car.
But I made a new friend.”

“Great place I love it! Awesome action figures I am an OG there I have been going since 2017 but I have seen it grow for so long and it went from Pokemon and mostly cards. To awesome anime figures and much more cooler things. The store owner is always there he's the coolest. Me and my dad still go to this day just not as frequently unfortunately. We're busy. ? However, when I go it's an incredibly treat.”
