Showed up to buy pebbles and was in the lobby area walking around waiting to get helped and acknowledged but the older lady and older gentleman were too busy talking to other "potential clients" but their conversation sounded personal and not business wise anyways they never helped us and were just yapping away..so mad and disappointed..My time was wasted and I will never be coming back..to the owners please do better with your choice of employees..train them better on costumer service!!!

So I've been working toward repaving our back and front yards and working closely with this company to help determine which pavers would work. In the process, I have received pricing for the cost of pavers we're interested in and samples. This helped us determined the pavers we are going to have installed. So now that we have a contractor to do the work, I placed a call back to this store to get the current pricing for the pavers, base and polymeric sand we need and in the process the person assisting asks if I'm "just shopping around or if I'm serious." I thought this was an asinine question. What ever happen to customer service, patience and decency? It's not like this company has a pricing menu on their website for all of its products. It's not like they have all the special information about products on their website, such as the product is special order at this time or unavailable or cost extra for x,y,z. So I said to the person On the phone that I am serious about placing an order and gave him the backstory of my working with this company up to this point and told him if he does want to assist me, I can happily take my business elsewhere, which means I now have to shop for a new business to work with. He agreed I should take my business elsewhere. I don't understand why this company would just f*** off a sale for 20k in this way!

I had ordered broken concrete for my project and Josh was super helpful.On delivery day, he sent out Joel who brought all the pallets on the big truck then masterfully operated his forklift to drop the pallets off right next to the work site. Because he was careful and thoughtful, he made sure that he did not run over any of the hard-to-see sprinklers. I could not be more pleased with the friendliness and professionalism - thank you Central Valley Builders!!

Bait and switch! Don't believe their quotes or any information given. These people are not to be trusted! They have sent me a written quote for $630 based on clearly communicated stone size specifications. I went to see the stone to make sure the colour would work. I left with a sample. The next day I get a text that it will actually cost $1,000 more! Wait a minute... I was there and we discussed and agreed to everything. Why do you waste two hours of my time ?? This business clearly doesn't stand behind their quotes and provides misleading information. Beware.

Been coming here for years, always had great service inside the store and outside in loading area. They have a bunch if great workers there. Great selection in material, stone and pretty mucho all your construction needs.

Do Not Hire! Employees/Owner are not following COVID mandates or guidelines and then claim they are vaccinated, which is a lie. If you want COVID, then hire this company; If you want an honest and safe company go elsewhere. The owner is a complete a**hole. UPDATE!!!!! This employee who is obviously being paid to post replies has no clue of her company! She is probably sitting in the building wearing no mask herself. When you can see multiple vehicles from Central Valley Builders Supply at a construction site with the business license on it and multiple employees working from those trucks, they are obviously working at the site. And, apparently, this is not the first, second, or third time people are seeing this company not following COVID-19 mask mandates. Ohh, and Sarah, no your employees are definitely not cleaning up after themselves or the area, and they are definitely not vaccinated. They are required to wear masks, you obviously do not know CDC and Health Department policies. So keep on lying!!!
