Geno worked with me out of state and got me everything I asked for prior to sale, ie pictures, car fax, maintenance records, etc. Flew to Burbank and he picked me up saving me the cost of an uber. Awesome service! Educated me on all aspects of the vehicle with realistic expectations. I also watched his process of what he looks for when purchasing cars from auction. He is very CAREFUL what he buys and with 17 years experience he knows what is a lemon and what is not. I would buy from him again for sure.

Gino is a bad guy.
He erased the check engine light and sell to me.
People should not buy this dealer.
I have suffered until now.
I don't want people suffer like me.

Called him about a Kia Sportage and asked, "Is it on your lot or is it in a warehouse somewhere." He kept saying, "I'm not in town today. Do you want to see it today?" No. I want to know that if I show up--whenever--it's actually ready to drive. "Well, I can't show it to you today, I'm not in town." Over and over and over. So, I'm guessing he had it who knows where, and just wanted me to get me on his lot to try to sell me some piece of garbage. I'd had enough at that point and hung up. I don't know about you, but I'm beyond tired of dealing with these scumbags who only see their customers as sheep to shear. imports, inc.

The worse place to get a car. Still traumatized by the Subaru we bought that broke down the day we drove it home. Gino ignored my text messages (see screenshot) read the message and blew me off! I had to call using a friends phone and pretend I was interested in another car to get this scumbag to answer. My wife still reminds me about the Subaru till this day. You might be a lucky one and get a good car but beware and know that you won't get support of the car is bad. I really wanted to take him to court but luckily for me I had purchased an ASC warranty when I financed the Outback at the bank for an additional $1500. They replaced the $4500 sealed transmission but I had to pay $1200 out of pocket due to the value of the car. Overall I would say STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

For this being my first car I got from a dealership, I am actually very happy and satisfied with the car purchase. Car runs great with no problems at all.This place if very reliable in my eyes.

Honesty and integrity are not words that are normally used at a used vehicle dealer. However, California Imports Inc is the exception. Gino has years of automotive experience and only puts quality vehicles on his lot. My wife and I were looking for a convertible and he certainly delivered. The car came with a clean carfax and quality check that gave us plenty of smiles per gallon. If you are in the market for a reliable used vehicle and don’t want the runaround of a giant dealership, give Gino a call. It will be the best decision you make if you are buying a car.

I have purchased several cars over the years but I have never met a salesperson as honest as Gino. He got my wife and I into a convertible and worked with us all the way. He sells only quality vehicles at an incredible price and we would not hesitate to buy from him again. If you are looking for a reliable vehicle with a no pressure salesperson breathing down your neck then you have found your man. Gino and California imports are the best hands down.

The salesman tried to impress me with how they had the car's engine detailed. Once I lifted the beauty cover it was still filthy. There was never an air filter change nor a coolant change, there was signs of oil in the coolant. The headlights had to be replaced because of an obvious accident they never disclosed. I had to patch the tire due to a nail. I replaced the PCV valve because the amount of dirt and oil in the throttle for never changing air filter. The license plate had the evidence to prove they had front end damage. Be careful of their gimmicky attitude especially when they start talking to each other in a foreign language. I'm a smog tech so I am able to make all the repairs and was able to improve from 21mpg to 34mpg and the car was and still is in decent shape. It's been over 30 days since I traded my car in for one of theirs and they still haven't changed ownership on the title, DMV requires you to do this within 10 days.

WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE!! DO NOT BUY FROM GENO!! Pushy, arrogant, irritable, snake, fraud, scammer. Will try to clear codes from system. Will try to upsell you a fraud warranty. Will try to charge you for a free cancellation agreement. Takes advantage of people. Do not trust him. Do not give him your money. Very disrespectful. Fake love.

VERY SKETCHY SITUATION. Everything seemed fine on the phone, but once we got to the lot the car had error messages, undercarriage damage, and non working windows. Gino kept pressuring us and rushing us to buy the car.... then wouldn't give us a warranty. Please stay away from this place.

This past Saturday 11/30/2019 , i got my 2008 lexus GS350 from California imports , i had a super but super great experience with GINO the owner , he really knows how to treat his customers, i had so many questions about the vehicle and he took the time to answer every single question that i had , he's into customer satisfaction , as soon as i got to the dealer, he was really polite to me and my family, i love my lexus car is in great condition, interior is flawless, and exterior from 1-10 is a 9. DO NOT PURCHASE "AS IS" FROM THIS DEALER!!! "Gino" sells lemons and has zero integrity. I bought a Ford F-150 from him and two weeks later it broke down and needed a new engine. At time of purchase, I asked if he made any repairs to it and he said he replaced the timing chain guide but otherwise was in "perfect condition" and would be a "great truck". When it broke down and I called him, he ended up admitting he had also replaced one of the cam phasers before selling it and that the engine light was on when he bought it at auction. Long story short, it's been four months and the truck is still at Ford being diagnosed because there are so many things wrong with it. I owned it for two short weeks and it has cost me thousands of dollars and will probably have to be sold for parts. PS- DO NOT allow his mechanic Mario at M&L Auto Repair do any work to your vehicle under any circumstance. The guy is a total joke and will RUIN your car. They are in bed together.
