Edit 3yrs later. Really liked it a few years back. Easy parking, good customer service, a little pushy. Somehow ended up with a credit c account that I never used. Every year they get worse. Just using their checking for now. Can't even use their atm's after business hours in their new "elite" location. Bad location, bad parking, bad service and horrible reputation.

PERMANENTLY CLOSED!!! Google maps needs to update information. It says that they are open right now, so parked and got out of the car only to be stopped at the door by a “closed permanently” sign.WELLS FARGO needs to cover up ALL Wells Fargo signs on this building until they can be removed, as mentioned by another customer review. Grrrr!

RELOCATION: The new bank is on 2099 Broadway St, intersecting Jefferson Avenue. It is near the RWC Downtown Philz Coffee and Margaritas Mexican Restaurant. This location is still not open as of December 18th, 2021. I'm not sure when they'll open yet, and I did hear that they'll open on December 10th. Look out for another Wells Fargo Bank for now. Best.

When it comes to getting foreign money they are horrible! It's takes so long more then 20 minutes just for someone to help you! Seems like they need more people trained to do it!

So after another failed attempt to get Wells Fargo to help me out with a simple request, they sent me a survey... Here is my response:Wells Fargo has let me down a number of times in the last few years with failures that cost me tens of thousands of dollars due to incompetence. 1. Cash Advance - I purchased an item at auction and needed $20,000 quickly. I had a WF credit account with a current offer that was very low cost so I decided to use this account to fund the purchase. I even checked in with my local branch to be sure this deal was what it looked like and that I could access the funds the same day. I was told yes. The next day I went back to make the withdrawal and was told that if I had done it the day before (when I was in the bank...) that it would have saved me the 'same day fee'. A fee they did not mention the day before whan I asked about the account and accessing the funds... Unfortunately the funds did not make it to my account that day as needed. They did not arrive the next morning, either. It was the end of the next day that the funds finally arrived in my account. As a result I missed my payment deadline for inspection and had to complete the purchase as is with no inspection. This turned out to be very costly as the item I bought was fraudulently represented. If I had been able to properly inspect what I was buying I would have had the opportunity to withdraw but Wells Fargo cost me this chance. 5 months later I got my money back, after thousands of dollars in expenses. I take responsibility for making a judgement error, but Wells Fargo prevented me from figuring this out until it was too late.2. Wire error - one of your bankers sent an international wire with errors that lost me a discount of $1,200 on a product purchase. Again, perhaps I should have better reviewed the wire and caught these errors, but I send dozens of wires every year and have never had such a catastrophic failure to perform a simple task. 3. When the PPE loans became available I applied through Wells Fargo but was told the money had run out - and later learned this was because Wells Fargo took advantage of the system by prioritizing big loans over small loans to make more money. This was a program to help small businesses like mine but Wells Fargo instead sough to profit off the opportunity. Shame on you Wells fargo.3. PPE loan denial - WF denied my application, claiming that my business "Did not Qualify" Funny, Bridge Bank did not see it that way and gave me the loan the my business DID qualify for. Shame on you Wells Fargo.4. Failure to support loss on gift card - I bought two $200 Vanilla gift cards with my ATM card. The gift cards were not properly activated at the store and the store has refused to help, even with all the receipts and original packaging. I asked WF for help but was denied. Twice.Wells Fargo is horrible

Very good bank, more customer oriented than speed oriented. Everyone greets you when you go in.

Yeah.. forget about getting help from these people. Their lack of interest To help just oozes from their face. I really needed help and got indifferent answers from them and in the end, I still lost money. They don’t even offer solutions. They don’t care what happens to the customer. I’ve notice how their attitude changes once they see your account info. They only care if you’re making a deposit or if you’re opening an account. Been a customer for 11 years and I get treated this way.. I’m done with Wells Fargo.

Creepy security guard (Saturday) who followed us around the car park and to the ATM; then told us we couldn’t park in the car park because it’s for staff. I pointed out there’s no signs and that it clearly says it’s for customs of WF. Was told we couldn’t park there (car park was empty). If he was supposed to make it feel safe he did the opposite- I was totally creeped out by his bizarre following so left.

I've been with Wells Fargo for about 3 decades. I'll go as far north as San Francisco, and as far south as San Jose, depending on where I am and what I need to accomplish. I work in Redwood City, near downtown, so this branch is convenient for me to use before I go to work. I wish I worked closer to the Woodside Road or even the Sequoia Station branch because this branch on Main @ Marshall is pretty bad. Always long lines, usually 1-2 tellers who end up speaking to their customers for like 10-15 minutes (while the line grows and grows), the managers usually sit on their asses at desks and watch the queue like it's entertainment, and honestly, this location is just plain ghetto: it's dark, it seems dirty, and the tellers don't seem very friendly. All the other WF locations that I've ever been to offer at the minimum 4-5 star service. But this one is a weak 2 star, and that's only because the teller that helped me today was pleasant and efficient. Every other experience that I've ever had at this location is terrible. I liken the experience at this location to be equivalent to waiting in line at the DMV or Social Security Office. Too bad, because the location is very convenient for me (as well as other downtown RWC workers, I suspect).

I just opened an account today and I was highly impressed by the professionalism, the expertise the tellers. They seem genuinely interested, authentic, unscripted care. I will specifically like to mention Alex, she was beautiful and very helpful. My experience there was definitely elevated
