Went to the Broadway branch for a medallion signature guarantee and spoke to Tyler Manuel, who I believe is the branch manager. First off, he scolded me for not having made an appointment. Then he asked if I brought in my Fidelity Investments statement (the account where I was doing a wire transfer from) and I said no I did not. It's really not any of WF's business to see any of my retirement account statements. And when I mentioned this to Fidelity, they were appalled at WF's stance. The wire transfer was executed yesterday, thanks to my going into the Fidelity office in Palo Alto directly. When I went to my WF account online today, I see that WF has charged me $15.00 to receive said wire. Such bullshit!

Do not go to this branch! The manager was very rude and unprofessional! I went to a banker because I had an unauthorized charge on my account. The banker herself, I had no problem with, but the manager guy came up and just started saying that they couldn't refund the unauthorized charge on my account and started getting argumentative with me. Long story short, I never got the help I came for because the rude manager wouldn't leave and let me talk to someone else and instead of helping me, kept demanding me to leave. My mother came and I told her what was going on. She started trying to help, but the manager just continued his rudeness and kept demanding her to leave as well! I will NOT be back to this branch for a banker again! I've been banking with Wells Fargo for years and I have NEVER had this type of treatment from them before! So unprofessional!!

Great bank, friendly customer service, interesting mortgage rates, lots of dedicated parking, which is a bonus.

This review is for the Wells Fargo rep I had today, who deserves a raise after she had to deal with the Wells Fargo debacle I went through this evening. Her name is Julia I. and she was VERY patient. I signed up for my WF acct about a month ago, and just signed up for Zelle. My husband had sent me a $400 payment today and asked me if I received it. I said I couldn't check because for some reason I couldn't get online. Every time I tried to log in, I got blocked. I thought there must be an issue with my online account - maybe I typed the password in wrong, too many times and got locked out. So I called Wells Fargo's 800 number, expecting to resolve the issue with some quick phone verification.... you know, tell em your mom's maiden name, the make and model of your first car, etc.. I thought I'd blitz through the security questions and be able to get right back online. But Noooooooooooooo.... I was told that I'd had to go to a branch and speak to a rep, and show my ID as a security verification. I was super annoyed by this. "It's 5:58 PM!" I said. "Wells Fargo is closing and I need to pay for something online tonight!" (I have to buy stock images for a project I'm working on). She informed me that the branch in the Safeway at Sequoia station was open till 7. So, I finished up a few emails and callbacks for the day and went downtown to resolve this issue. I got there close to 7, and said to a guy behind the counter, can I please just show someone my ID so I can get back online? Thinking it would take 2 minutes. WRONG AGAIN! I'm sure I appeared as that annoying, impatient customer that is highly demanding and wants everything in a hurry. Sorry but I just really felt like I shouldn't have to do any of this at all. I was told I'd need to meet with a banker, and the (manager?) opens a little door and voila, there's like, a whole wells fargo "office" right there, for you to sit down. The banker's name was Julia and she is the only reason I'm writing this review... for putting up with how long it took to get this issue resolved. She was there about an HOUR AFTER CLOSING, and she was super nice. That girl deserves a raise, seriously. Anyway, she had to make all these calls and talk to a bunch of different people to figure out what was going on. They finally had to re route us to the fraud (???) department to make sure that last week I did, indeed, intend to send $500 to a client in Kansas. They said they tried to contact me about the payment, and that is 100% NOT TRUE. I showed Julia my phone, and my voicemail, and there was NOTHING. NO call from Wells Fargo. They could have sent me a text, left a voicemail indicating there was something they needed to talk to me about... an email... but... NOTHING. They simply REVERSED THE PAYMENT, without contacting me at all! I WAS LIVID. This is an important client who purchased $10,000 worth of equipment from me, so it's imperative that I keep a good working relationship with her. I can't have her thinking things look weird by having to explain that the bank suddenly reversed my payment to her, with no warning!! I was so annoyed, I told the woman on the phone that they needed to explain what was going on, and poor Julia had to sit there, after work hours, while I ranted to the woman in the fraud department, who said that she was going to have to send a letter, explaining what happened, and why it would take an extra week or so for my client to receive her check. I also felt strongly that my client was entitled to some kind of compensation for the fact that her payment would be a week late. In addition to costing me, and Julia, and Julia's manager, a lot of time, this error on Wells Fargo's part could have cost me a really good client. I had to get her on the phone, and I'm grateful that she was understanding about the debacle, but some clients would not have been. That $500 payment was part of a contract that took us an entire day to negotiate. I'm in sales, and I

All of the staff at this Wells Fargo in the Safeway are extremely friendly and go above and beyond to help people out, especially Maged the teller who is such an awesome guy!!

I come here every single week , to deposit and cash my check , this time I got taken care of by a new guy "Alfred rickerts" .. I come here enough that most tele already seen me there all the time , Mr Alfred failed to give correct customer service . My if was expired for a month , and didn't feel like taken it , got a bad attitude . I told him I had a sales license I can use as another form of ID he ignored it and said if you want to cash your check go to a Bank of America Bank. I have never felt so un helped by someone before . Normally everyone there are very happy employees happy to assist clients .. not this guy. That's where all leave this review on .

The banker who helped me inside the office was very frustrated and irritated. I couldn't stay there to ask what I needed. So I went to another Wells Fargo location.

Horrible customer service unless you go to a manager. Woman teller there has a huge attitude problem. It's incredible how rude she can be at her own job.

I am so disappointed with the experiences I have had with Wells Fargo. The net net is that while they will tell you that the account you are setting up for your student will not incur service fees, they always do. I can't recommend having a student account with Wells Fargo. And if you have one, make sure to check your statement every month - especially if they craftily set up a checking account with no fee, but added a savings account which WILL incur a fee - then wipe out your child's savings with those fees and then start taking money from the checking account to cover them as well! Beware!

WOW!!!! I've got more favorites here at this branch now. Ixchel was so helpful, nice & fun to do buisness with. Her teller manager Cecily was AWESOME AS WELL. They both are doing a great job keeping the customers happy & the line moving on busy days! I can't say enough. This branch would get more STARS if I could give. Thanks! & keep up the smiles, it's working!

I'm not a Wells Fargo client, but went to them the other day when in need of rolls of coins. I usually just go to Safeway customer service area since they will exchange cash, but that particular day nobody was manning the area so I ended up walking over to the Wells Fargo area. The teller was super friendly in greeting me and was happy to exchange my money for coins. There was no line at the time and I was helped immediately. I would definitely recommend this small branch if you are looking to do the same. I don't have much to review in regards to other banking issues, but for what I needed that day they came through. Great customer service for a non Wells client. Thanks Wells Fargo!

located inside safeway, this is a super convenient branch with a few atm machines and tellers. i like that i can come here and get my banking and grocery shopping done in one place. if i come during the evening, after work, there tends to be a line for the tellers, but on the weekends, there's generally no one here. i very much appreciate that there are live tellers here on the weekend, even on sunday when pretty much all of the local branches are closed. this "mini" branch is a bit small and a bit cramped, but i do appreciate the convenience and human interaction on the weekend.

great service at this small-inside-a-market branch!. needed to get my name changed on my bank accounts and was helped immediately by a representative that was really nice and courteous. I was also introduced by the manager that told me that he would contact me tomorrow to let me know that my change was done successfully. what a pleasant experience. Great services.
