Warning: Not the Corporate Store, Shady
Victra Verizon has abysmal service. They remain buoyant with positive reviews online because anytime a guest is upset, they claim to be located at 2501 El Camino instead of their actual location on 1025 El Camino Real. This way, online grievances will be posted to the wrong store, sabotaging the efforts of the corporate Verizon store to keep this 3rd Party Verizon retailer afloat.
I called a Verizon number that 'transferred' me to the Verizon store at 2501 El Camino Real, Redwood City, right in the Target Plaza. The phone number on Google did not match the address location and I asked, "is this the phone number for the 2501 el Camino location?" The representative said yes but I did not trust him. I had to ask their name and he said 'Andrew'. I asked to speak to a manager and they said they are "pretty much a manager". I insisted that I need a manager and they insisted that they were qualified enough. He kept on insisting he was qualified to handle whatever the situation was and I told him he wasn't as close to being a manager as he thought because he didn't even introduce himself on the phone. He literally started the conversation with a confused, "Hello?". Who does that?! He then scheduled me an appointment the following day with his Assistant Manager, Esmerelda.
When I arrive to meet Esmeralda, I am told "there is no one of that name who works here". I do get connected to manager, Andrew D., who was awesome. I find out that the Andrew I talked to the day before is from Victra Verizon down the street. They are a 3rd party for Verizon that is horrible. I told Andrew D. that he should call himself 'Andy' to not be affiliated with and distinguish himself from the liar down the street.
Verizon needs to cut Victra off. Andrew from Victra was eager to help but unpolished and he told me that for three locations, they have 2 managers. This is exactly why Victra has problems. There is a lack of management and the inmates are running the asylum. Victra's owners don't care because they're still making money but it's unfair because their eager employees aren't trained how to do their job correctly.
I hate getting lied to and dishonesty is clearly something that Victra encourages. Why tell me the wrong location? When I suspected I wasn't talking the correct store, I was assured that google had the information wrong. This place sucks big time and I'm celebrating when they go out of business. Cheers!

Maybe I did not luck out but the lady at the counter today was totally useless. I wanted to add a hotspot to my account and she could not pull any information up from her tablet. She told me at 7:05 PM “sorry, we are about to close”, can you call *611 from your phone and ask them?” When they close at 8 PM. She had no idea what the plans were and kept typing nervously on her tablet trying to find the information I asked for but clearly clueless where to look. Her, Verizon, why bother pay for brick and mortar stores if all your associates can do is send customers to 611?

This place Victra is a third party of Verizon and is a scam. Offered a new iPhone 15 with trade in of iPhone 12 with no expense except the sales tax/phone activation. I traded in my iPhone 12 on time and Verizon is still charging me the full $850 price of the iPhone 15, in a 36 month contract. So now they have my iPhone 12 for free and I’m paying for the iPhone 15 full cost.

I would go for 0 star if there’s an option. I usually don’t leave google reviews but this store is ridiculous.
Last weekend we received a $1,000 coupon and went to the store to place a trade-in order for iPhone 15 pro. They told us to come back in 2-3 days to pick up and since we were traveling this week we only got the chance to come back on Sunday today. It seems like the phone is here and the only staff at the store spent half an hour to get to phone in the store for us. He then showed us his tablet that he was not able to activate it and asked if we canceled the order. Why would we even come here if we canceled it from our side??? He asked us who placed the order for us last week. We were so confused because he should be able to see who place the order in the system or even check the time schedule to see who was here last weekend, but we still tried to provide the information we remember about the staff.
He said the order is somehow canceled and he can place a new one, but the only coupon code he saw in the system was $400. After some argument we realized maybe he just couldn’t override anything in the system and we said we want to talk to the manager of the store and figure out how to place the same order for the phone that we were supposed to pick up today so that we don’t need to pay more. He then said his manager is off today and he can’t call him and we have to come back when his manager is at work. We became angry and impatient because we’ve been here for over an hour. There were also other customers that became impatient while he slowly process our case.
Finally he agreed to call the manager, and the manager said we can order the phone online again to use the coupon, and he finally apologized for causing inconvenience and confusion. This solved the issue but we’ve wasted the whole afternoon here, not to say last week when we came to place the order.
It’s ridiculous that they just cancel my order without even letting me know. It’s even more ridiculous that they hire a teenager staff who has no idea about problem solving and customer service, and don’t know how to say sorry when they’re causing a lot inconvenience.
Honestly we’ve been using Verizon for many years. This is the first time I want to stop using it any more. So disappointed and
frustrated.

I didn't have such a good experience but at least there was a person who assisted me with not so good will and well I arrived looking for information why I wanted to change companies and I wanted information to be able to change with guests but a person reluctantly assisted me, and in the end there was another one who wanted to understand me well but I had already been disappointed ? with the service, why as soon as I came in I told them that if I could have access to the store's Wi-Fi why didn't I have an active line why was I going to change with them, but they denied me access to their Wi-Fi as well and I had to communicate with another colleague of mine who also wanted to change with guests, but the truth is I didn't like it

What’s the point of making appointment here when we arrived and waited 50mins and not being served? Looks like it takes forever to resolve a customer’s phone issue.

Now a days it’s hard to find people who are competent at what they do! Jeffery was a delight to work with and processed me in and out of the store very efficiently and quickly.
