I had been requesting online access from the bank president for 4 months now. First they lost our application paperwork that we sent in last year and then a year later she has me sign another signature form, and then another. Always promising to have someone call me back and no one ever does. I'm still waiting. Finally decided to walk to the bank and talk to someone directly and guess what? They close at 4 pm! I would imagine that small banks ought to have higher levels of customer service in order to compete against the big national banks. I can imagine that this small regional bank will get swallowed up within 2 years. 6/10/16 - the bank VP reached out to me to help explain the situation. I appreciate her making this gesture so I'm raising my review to 2 stars.

We purchased United America Bank Stock 2003....and just lost all our $$$ with their merger with Heritage. United American Bank you should be ashamed of yourself !!!! How Banks can get away with this crap ! We purchased 2,000 shares @ $10.00 a share = $20,000...I know not a huge amt....but the principal of this ....In March of 2017 United American Bank did a REVERSE STOCK EXCHANGE...red flag...but still had faith in them....wrong. They just merged with Heritage Bank...we now own after their reverse exchange ......our 2000 shares were reduced to 40 shares of Heritage at a value of $17.00 = $ 1475.00 !!!!!!!!!!!! Total loss for us... Shame on you United American Bank and Mr. John Schrup President and Chief Executive Officer. I understand you "walked away" with $9 Million Dollars
