1179 San Carlos Ave, San Carlos“Reach and Teach is an amazing store to have in the community! I can't believe how nice it is to have a refill store so close by, and with such nice staff members. I love browsing the extensive collection of kids games and books. I have found many games here that I have only seen online! Craig and Derrick are amazing and so nice to speak to.”
“I went in here for the first time a few weeks ago because I wanted to start on a Gundam kit that weekend. I'm *SO* glad I did! The guy who helped me saved me *SOOO* much time researching and figuring out what kind of model I wanted to go with. SERIOUSLY. THANK YOU. He gave me information that I didn't even know to look up! Best customer service ever. I was very happy with the kit I left with and I eventually came back this past weekend for some more. Woo! I would definitely recommend coming here if you want to peruse a large selection of merchandise with helpful costumer service.
One bit of critique I would add is that initially, I did have a hard time finding the entrance since it's in a strip of warehouse-fronts that all look similar, but once I found it, woo! (Maybe put a balloon or anime stand-up or something out front the door to make it obvious it's for the entrance to the Anime store for other directionally impaired and semi-blind/unintentionally oblivious folks like me?) Just a suggestion - you probably have it mentioned somewhere more specifically what to look for and I probably overlooked it.
Thanks again for your help - you guys are the best!”
“A lively and big store. For a local small business, this place is very big with lots of merchandise for different audiences. Boys, girls, babies, toddlers, young kids and even adults. From single player to groups and families. I was quite impressed with the variety of the products they had to offer, and the price was very decent, too. No wonder it was so lively. The staff were very nice, helpful and humorous. Will come back next time if I’m in the area.”
“Love this fun store. They have a lot if designs and themes you could ask for. They may have a few plain pairs but mostly fun prints. The store carries souvenirs too, stickers, dog magnets, mood rings, bracelets, necklaces and slipper socks. A must in your shopping agenda”

1241 Broadway, Burlingame“This is a cute shop ran by a cute couple that have been here forever and I'm sad because I just now discovered them! My 6 year old picked out unique candy like a toilet bowl candy and other toy candy that's edible! They are warm and friendly and I keep telling them to open up a shop in East Palo Alto because that's where I moved to! Our daughter was wanting to go to a Candy Shop and they were highly recommended on Google and Yelp. We will be coming here again!”

173 Main St, Los Altos“This toy store is fantastic! Every shelf is filled with games or puzzles or books or stickers or some toy! It feels so nice to walk into a real local toy store and not a toy department within a large corporation! Excellent customer service with complimentary gift wrap!”

1568 Laurel St, San Carlos“I recently sold some items at this hidden gem of a consignment store, and I had such a great experience! The selection of clothing (especially winter gear, games, toys, strollers, etc.) is impressive, featuring a wide range of styles, sizes, and brands. The quality of their gently used items is impeccable. They do a great job curating their collection for both fashion and functionality for littles. The staff is so friendly, patient, and informative.
I also appreciate the eco-friendly aspect of consignment shopping, contributing to sustainability and reducing waste in the fashion industry. It's a win-win for both parents and the planet!
Whether you're a parent on a budget or simply enjoy finding unique pieces for your little ones, this place is a must-visit. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for fantastic finds and a delightful shopping experience for their kids.”
10AM - 8PM
341 Hillsdale Mall, San Mateo“It's a lego store! The only thing not to love is sticker shock for the uninitiated, but once you buy your first ridiculously overpriced box of plastic bits...you'll be hooked and looking for more!”
“Such a lovely children’s bookstore! They have a very wide range of selection for books and toys for little ones. Worry not, they also have a small section for young adults as well.Personally, I love their collection of puzzles. There are many rare puzzles that I couldn’t find it online or Amazon. These are amazing!Oh, the staff is very friendly. They also have a gift wrapping station.”

785 Laurel St, San Carlos“Such a lovely bookstore, and a great part of the San Carlos community. I take my daughter for storytime regularly and buy gifts for friends here. It's such a delight to have an independent bookstore in our neighborhood where the staff know and love books, and can share thoughtful recommendations.”
“Very nice staff! The store is huge and amazing! The prices are normal and fair, a huge selection of Funko pops and have so many different sizes of funko pops. Would recommend 100%”
“Wow, they have so many games there, and the salesman could tell us about each game. I loved the variety, and commentary he would give us, to help you choose the best games to buy. Some prices comparable to Amazon, so it's nice that you get the live review before buying.”
“I love everything about this place. Non-toxic and organic everything! I know I can always find something for my daughter. They have clothes, books, toys, and furniture. Just a heads up, it is $$$$ (and yes, four dollar signs); it is easy to spend $$$$ on a few things. Whenever Christmas or my daughter's birthday comes up, I know where to go. The reason for two stars? Limited on what they offer and parking. Definitely take a visit if you have a upcoming baby shower or a birthday party for kids!”

1952 W El Camino Real, Mountain View“For people who want to collect Sonny Angels, this store does not have any. When I asked the worker, he said he didn't even know what they were. The store had an ok selection of things though, and was pretty clean which was great. Overall an enjoyable place to shop around / look around in, albeit no Sonny Angels. (a previous reviewer said they had a huge collection)”
10AM - 7PM
1111 Burlingame Ave, Burlingame“Visited this store for the first time last week and will for sure be coming back. Wonderful selection of high quality brands/toys. Great variety for all ages, friendly staff. This feels like a wonderful local business to support!”
“Since I been having to learn the area, especially coming from San Diego, they really are top #1 on my list for party planning supplies and all your party needs. And prices are very reasonable and if you have 5 star rewards you can get discounts for shopping with them. For my 1st time I got my 5$ discount and I had a great experience. I really recommend it. It's what I'm used to back home and better than party city prices when it comes to plates and table covers and cups.”
“Very nice staff, I love this Build-A-Bear workshop. I want to thank all the store members for making my daughters first build a bear experience memorable one! I will definitely come back again :)”
9:30AM - 9:30PM
3010 Bridgepointe Pkwy, San Mateo“This store is very new, so I don't know if they'll get more things in. There are many Five Below stores in the Midwest and they're bigger with more things. So this one I felt is small. I'm older, so I go here mostly for the T-shirts or candy.”
“Very nice bookstore, clean, well-equipped, it feels cozy and has a wide assortment of children's books (it's what we were going to look for) and in addition to books we liked that they have very nice Legos of plants for sale.”
