So I started to notice my ignition wouldn't start normally sometimes - then the sometimes became more frequent. I said its about time to get it checked and fixed. I have a busy schedule and I live in Daly City, but work in Redwood City. So I googled "best autoshop in Redwood City" - and Toral Auto Care was the first one that popped up! I looked at the reviews on yelp and there has been nothing but positive messages about Miguel, the master mechanic at the shop. I took it in before starting my shift at work and I told him he can take his time to work on it, which was a benefit for me because I work in RWC, and told him the issue with my car. Before I got off worked he contacted me and said my car is ready! He said the issue has been solved and it was the Crankshaft Sensor that was the issue. He changed my spark plugs as well as my cabin air filter. He charged me a very fair and good price for the work he did. I will come back to him for my oil change and I am confident in him and his team to do a great job each time his clients chooses them to do their car repairs. Glad to have found you guys! Thank you!

Found this shop via google search. Took my 2016 Mini Cooper there for regular oil change and had a pleasant experience. Miguel is a polite, honest man who doesnt push for unnecessary things or use scare tactics. I felt like I got good service for reasonable price. I'd recommend him.

Miguel is a fantastic car mechanic. He is honest and kind and performs necessary repairs efficiently. He communicates clearly and charges a very fair price for repairs. After calling a number of car mechanics, I decided to go to Toral Auto Care and am very glad I did. I will definitely go back to Miguel for future repairs as they arise.

I got my oil changed by them a few months ago and they did not reinstall the engine cover. I did not realize this until today when I went to get my oil changed at another place. This is something that most folks won’t realize so pls double check. I’m extremely disappointed that they missed this.

Miguel is wonderful. He did a good job above and beyond our expectations. We took our 2014 Hyundai to a different mechanic to be checked for a very unusual problem, and of course they couldn’t figure it out. Met Miguel and explained the issue and next day, car was checked out and good to go. Very knowledgeable, friendly and HONEST!

Great experience and pricing at this auto shop. Owner is extremely kind and reasonable. Did a thorough investigation, explained any issues with the car, and walked me through the different options. Also let me leave the car with him for a few extra days. His pricing was cheap! Even waived the diagnostic fee, which could have been much larger at any other shop. Would definitely recommend this honest small business owner to anyone needing work done on their car!

I was impressed with their professionalism, affordability, and clear communication throughout the entire process.My Jetta was having some serious issues lately – a misfiring engine and a wonky axle. I was worried it might be time to say goodbye to my beloved car, but then I found Total Auto Care!From the moment I called, I was impressed by their professionalism. They were easy to schedule with and took the time to listen to my concerns. When I arrived at the shop, the staff was friendly and welcoming. They explained the diagnostic process and provided me with a written estimate before they started any work.I was happy to see that their prices were very reasonable, especially compared to other quotes I had received. They also kept me updated throughout the entire repair process, which I really appreciated.The best part? My Jetta is running like new again! The misfire is gone, the axle is fixed, and it feels like I'm driving a brand-new car.

I came here to get my car checked out because I had originally gone to Big O tires and they told me I need a handful of things done. I brought my car here and Miguel was nice enough to check my car and he told me I only needed one of the things that the other place said I needed. He was honest, responsive and didn’t charge me anything!! It was great. I will definitely be back! I finally found my mechanic in the Bay Area!!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement

I live in San Jose but will drive here to get my car serviced. If you are looking for a mechanic that listens, is honest, and values your time and business, then look no further. Miguel is fantastic! We went in for a check engine light and he was able to diagnose it quickly, provide repair options and complete the repair in less than a day. He was transparent and he had our interest in mind with a more cost effective repair option. He even inflated a tire that was low, which neither we nor him mentioned! I would absolutely recommend Toral and don’t intend on going anywhere else for our auto needs. Thank you Miguel!
