How nice it was to be able to get in person help with some transactions I needed to make with my IRA! I met with the Assistant Branch Manager and she was so professional and competent and kind. Patient with my questions and concerns. Transactions took place smoothly and in the specified time range and she even called to let me know when they were completed. Outstanding service and a pleasure to have real customer service. Thank you for making things easy for a senior who doesn't want to do everything online!

Stood in line for 20 minutes before being "waved at" to step up to the teller window. One teller and 2 representatives were working. All had one customer. One other customer was in line ahead of me. Not one SFCU employee greeted us, said "thank you for waiting" or "I'll be with you as soon as possible". No acknowledgement whatsoever, which is unacceptable customer service. They also have problems with the co-op service between other credit unions. It literally is only working 50%, or less, of the time whenever I stop in each month to make a deposit. Unfortunately, there is no other local participating credit union or I would have changed years ago.

I am writing to give high praise to the Assistant Branch Manager, Lesieli Lotoaniu ! I had gotten malware on my phone that let my calls to the toll free number to get intercepted. It was awful. I can teach people some things now about securing their everythings. When i came in to see Lesieli, I could honestly say I was a bit shell shocked and traumatized by what had happened. She was very professional, calm and patient with me while my head was spinning. She helped me shut down my mobile banking. I just kept it closed for two weeks while i was changing all my passwords and credit cards and things. She then helped me close the old accounts and open new checking and savings. Again, i was still pretty shell shocked. (note: i did not lose any money in this from bank or any credit card charges. The hackers also intercepted a Discover card call)She was again professional, calm and patient. I trusted to her and just listened and followed instructions. I went to the branch again today and she helped me complete something else there. Same vibe for this.. I needed to name this somewhere it could be seen. Great service from Lesieli!thank you. Adi

If you want really friendly and efficient customer service I would recommend going to their Palo Alto Branch. I came into deposit a check and didn't get so much as a "hello, how are you" or a goodbye. Actually seemed like the staff didn't really like their job, but who knows I came in right when they opened.
