Love going to and shopping at Sport's basement. I've bought numerous pairs of shoes there. Also like their nutrition section, which has most of the products I use during my long runs.
Their exchange / refund policy is also great. I've had a pair of shoes go on sale after 2 weeks of buying them, and they price-matched.

Sports Basement is my favorite retailer in San Mateo County. The store is great, with lots of choices, and the prices are very competitive. The staff are easy to find and helpful. Both the retail and rental sides are good and some of the best I have every used.

This store acts like it’s a luxury store, the worker is really rude and racist. The worker had a good and exciting energy before helping us. Then proceeded to be rude to us. Please do better, can we both just have a good day.

I bought an Aventon ebike at this Sports Basement in Redwood City. Very knowledgeable bike shop staff, they let me test ride the bike and even did a price match with a promo that Aventon was running online! 5/5, would highly recommend for anything bike related!

Alex and Brian are amazing they not only fixed my bike for free but denied any tip I tried to give them and found a spare part that worked wonderfully, I never knew such human kindness till I met them, thank you from the bottom of my heart !!! ( beat employe’s/humans ever!)
