If I could give zero stars I would. Stunned to read the post below 9 months prior because that was pretty much my experience with the exact same attendant. I pumped $50.01 of 91 octane gas and asked for the air to be turned on explaining how much gas I pumped and which pump. He turned the air on, but those gas station timers are always too short.I went back in and asked him to turn it back on. He gave me a very hostile glare and rudely said one more time but then I charge you. Why be rude and threaten me? It really irritated me.So, when I was done I returned to the station and asked for his name and the owner's. He refused to give them to me and said air is not free I have to pump gas to receive it. I told him again exactly how much gas I pumped, which pump and the time. He pulled up a bogus receipt showing $20 on the same pump and called me a liar. He then threatened to call the police. I asked him to please do so, because it is illegal in California to charge a customer for air if they paid for gas. He didn't and I left letting him know I would be sending the owner a complaint about him.I am stunned the owner has kept this guy on. He is one of the rudest people I have dealt with and completely unreasonable. He is killing business at this station and killing Shell's reputation.Needless to say, I will never go to this station again and I will do my upmost to never go to any Shell again. I advise anyone reading this to avoid the unnecessary hassle a stop at this station may bring.

horrible experience was refused tobacco products after presenting a valid ca license and then was told he would not sell me gas either and if I didn't leave he would call the police on me crazy! and I say he because he would not give me his name after I asked to speak to manager. was told he was the manager and if I came back to this location I would get police call on me. ridiculous

This employee is the rudest worker here at this location making racist comments telling me I'm white trash in Spanish cussing me out in Spanish not knowing I speak and understand Spanish!! he refuses to tell me his name or any information and refuses to let me pay for gas I honestly think this guy is drinking alcohol and is drunk anyways I'm never coming back to this gas station again extremely disrespectful and refuses to allow me to purchase gas

Rude attendant. Pump wasn't pumping, went to ask for help. Got told I don't know how to speak English and can't read.Corporate is going to have to look into this place

At 5:30 pm on July 11th I paid for. 10$ of gas on number 8 and I was charged but got no gas out of it and when I went to ask for help I was refused it told to leave and said that I was refunded when I was not ever refunded for anything the cashier was rude and refused help for customer service yelled at us was aggressive

The manager and his employees at this Shell gas station are zero help rude and cocky. The little manager talks like he's untouchable. If anyone knows who the owner is? please post it.

The cashier here thinks they are doing us a favor by letting us buy gas from them. When someone walks into the store and asks you to do something you get asked to do a thousand times a day, don't denigrate the customer. Take pride in your expertise and make it easy for the customer to complete their transaction.

My 82 year old mother went to this station and asked for help filling a low tire. They told her they wouldn't help her. What? Really? She has lived in this neighborhood since 1972. 46 years. This used to be a SERVICE STATION. She would have paid the $0.25 for the air compressor. Go to Costco. At least you know they don't offer service, and they're nice about it. What a world we live in...

The worst. This place needs major corporate intervention. Not only does the counter guy insist that you have to pay for air. But the products that are in the store although there are very few are overpriced by $0.40 each I'm talking about the Monster Energy drinks and if I remember correctly other things are overpriced too. I always leave this gas station regretting I had come to it. At the time of this post an individual Monster drink goes for $2.49 at this location they are listed for $2.89. Not to mention there is a Bay Area Wide promotion with monster at all Shell stations 3 for $5. At this location it is going to cost you $10 with tax for 3.

Nothing worse than getting random unnecessary attitude from cashier at the gas station first thing in thr am.Gave me attitude for using the bathroom and upon returning the key got more attitude and told park on the street!? Random.? I had to use the bathroom first after that never going there again. Worst gas station in redwood city! Felt discriminated against. Very bad customer service

Dropped my debit card there this morning, and all the corporate shell people I talked to (when trying to find a correct phone number) were very helpful and polite. When I talked to the man at the actual station, he was rude, could not tell me "yes" or "no" if it had been turned in, and then hung up on me. When I called back, to see again if it had been turned it, he didn't answer. Thanks for the helpful customer service.

Needs to catch up with the pricing model of other shells in the area. The snacks and trunks are about 1.00 +/- more each item.
