This pharmacy is a bit small and cramped - and it seems like the staff may be stretched thin - but I was grateful they were here as this was the only spot in the area with available COVID booster appointments in the near future. Props to the pharmacist juggling a dozen prescriptions while slinging vaccines (and 10% off Safeway coupons) from this tiny pharmacy cubicle.

Come here for my booster vaccine. The pharmaceutical Seetah was very rude and mean. I was very disappointed because all the staff was very nice until she get to me to give me the shot.

Worst Safeway and worst customer service. Got some pork ribs that expiration date for a week later. However, on opening it the entire house reeked of spoiled meat and had to throw it away immediately. Called the store 30 mins from purchase to let them know and get my refund, super unhelpful, need to bring the package back to get the refund and could not talk to the manager either when asked. Avoiddddd

Today I went to this Safeway (usually go to sequoia station), and was going to get 3 Lucerne cheese at $5.99 but noticed in the receipt that they charged it $9.29. I went back and was waiting at customer service for about 5/10 min. I hen no one came to help me, I spoke to a cashier named Zully (that's how the other cashier called her). She told me to go to the same cashier that helped me which I did. The girls didn't know how to help me so she called Zully to come and help her. Zully came to help her and told Maibe what to do and left her to help a white lady with a baby (felt discriminated as she was very friendly to that lady and very cold with me. To me Zully told me that I had to download the app or the discount was not going to work because "as she know online the clipping didn't work". I explained to her that my daughter used to work at Safeway and she had told me that the app was not needed. She said well you need to download it. Then she left Maibe alone helping me. In the meanwhile Maibe helped about 5 customers while I was downloading the app. And also waiting to get my money back. Maibe called Zully again and told her that she needed her to help her. I tried buying the cheese at the price and showed her the coupon but she said that I had to buy it at the $9.29 price. I left upset as they couldn't help me. By now it passed about 45/55 min. I try not to be mean to any Safeway people as my daughter worked there and wouldn't like anyone treating her bad. But just have a comment for Safeway, please train your cashiers better, so other customers don't have the same experience I had.

My original 1 star rating below to show what an ungrateful, entitled, hypocritical, know it b I can be. The staff was friendly despite being understaffed. i should be dead or in jail for the stuff I have done to harm myself, my family and society and yet I waltz into Safeway like I'm some baller superstar? God, I'm a delusional p**** sometimes. Much love wood side Safeway!!!! First draft Horrible! No self checkout. Never any checkers. U end up leaving your stuff and walking out. Ate their whole roasted chicken once and it was like eating vomit. I literally threw up. Staff could not care less.

I was at Safeway on woodside road in redwood city this evening friday April 22nd 2022 to purchase a bday cake. A very nice clerk who was in the deli helped me with my purchase of a cake i wanted for my 62nd bday for saturday April 23rd. No one in bakery was there this nice clerk boxed the cake for me. I wish i knew his name as he was very helpful an polite. he went out of his way to help me thank u so much appreciate it

This Safeway is the worst managed store around. it's my neighborhood store but I really hate it. The employees all look and act miserable. I wish they had self checkout so I didn't have to interact with them. MANY times, they've mess up on the digital coupons, i.e. post a discounted price, but charge you the full price at checkout. Then when you try to explain the overcharge, they act like it's your app's fault. ( Funny how the app works for some coupons and not others... and more importantly, this never happens in other safeways).

This is my all time favorite grocery store! It's a one stop shop! They have most anything, from produce to meats, organic to non, hot food and cold food like sushi, and everything in between. And plenty of staff to assist. You can even get plants, flowers and fresh herbs!

I visited this pharmacy to receive my Covid vaccination and the woman Pharmacist behind the counter (I believe she might of been a doctor) was extremely impatient and unprofessional, not only to me but everyone trying to pick up their prescription. When she had given me my vaccine injection its almost like she wanted to make it painful and was really rough, luckily I have a high pain tolerance but I can imagine what others felt like. That was my first and last time visiting this location.

I like that the pharmacy delivers ur meds to the door. I wish I signed up for my medications to come to my door a long time ago. This is so convenient for me. I signed up because of Covid but I am going to keep it permanently. I will miss seeing the staff at Safeway. I am so thankful this store offers this.

PHARMACY IS NOT VERY CUSTOMER FRIENDLY. I went to pick up a prescription and they did not have it in stock. Told me to come back the following day after 2PM. I went back the following day after 4PM, just to be sure delivery arrived. Delivery never arrived. Matter of fact, my prescription was never Ordered. Person behind the counter blamed it on "too many COVID 19 requests" That was before he realized he had never placed the order. Incompetence and Poor Discipline.

I am leaving a bad review in hopes this place will get better. First off there is no manager and if there is they are not doing their job. I bought meat there that was bad. Like it expired and smelled terrible before expiration date. How does that happen ? Their "deal" section items have mold growing. Lines are always long as they only open two lanes out of 7 lanes. I overheard workers fighting which was so unprofessional. This store needs help!!!!!!

This review is for pharmacy only. First time at this pharmacy yesterday and was so impressed by the pharmacist, Dr. Doan ( hope spelling it correctly) line of demanding strangers waiting for vaccinations or their prescriptions and this amazing pharmacist handled the rush patiently and beautifully she is a gem in our neighborhood, hope she stays here.
