People are confusing the Sports House venue with the Red Rock Volleyball Club.
While the venue is nice, the Red Rock Volleyball Club is terrible.

We played for Red Rock last year.Old teammates / coaches from our old clubs would approach us at tournaments and say, "why do you play for Red Rock? They are so slimey."Everyone seemed to have a bad impression of Red Rock. They have a terrible reputation. At the time, I didn't know what they were talking about. I do now.Red Rock will openly claim that tryouts are open and that anyone can make the team. Both this year and last year.....I can tell you that BOTH of the teams that we played for had 10 of 12 players already verbally offered BEFORE tryouts even happened.How do I know this? Well, we actually had verbal offers before tryouts. And because the volleyball parents all know one another and talk to one another. So the poor girls who are paying for a tryout are competing for only 2 open slots, not 12 open slots. But Red Rock TELLS THEM that all spots are open and takes their money.And Red Rock will sit there and say that there are no verbal offers RIGHT IN FRONT of parents whose children already have verbal offers. It is just an open lie and everyone knows it.Now here is the really dark thing. If a super player does show up and Red Rock's team is full......Red Rock will YANK the verbal offer of a girl that they have already offered.Usually, they will try to demote the girl to a lower team. This happened to a friend of ours and it made me really angry. The girl in question is a terrific player/person and did not try out at any other clubs because she had a (fake) early verbal offer from Red Rock.We turned down our offer and left this club for one that has better teams and does not make (fake) early verbal offers.Early verbal offers are insidious. Girls who get them may not try out at other clubs (which is exactly what Red Rock wants). But then Red Rock will pull those offers because there is no paper trail.Amazingly....these hardball tactics are directed against girls from ages 10 to 17. I understand that Academy and UC Elite do not engage in this nonsense. Go there.

A great alternative to some of the bigger boys volleyball clubs in the area. My son is having a great experience!

The communication is extremely confusing. The club changes schedules from time to time. Not only moving coaches around but also changes the day of the week and the times. We have to work around their schedules instead of having a fixed schedule for everyone's sanity. My son has been going there for a whole semester, completely a waste of money. He made no progress and they changed the coach in the middle and the new coach doesn't know anything about my son's status. The costs are higher than any other places we've heard of. Averaging more than $70 each practice.

Not a transparent club when it comes to team forming and tryout even though they claim to be transparent. Many participants left clueless on not knowing who got into which team after the tryout. Or maybe many are already notified back doors outside of tryout. Good that there are many club choices in the area (another one at the same venue). Shop around highly recommended before you commit to a club like this.

Fun party place or can join one of the sports teams. Club Volleyball is one part of this sport house.

Sports house is a great venue to play volleyball. I attended some of the Red Rock Volleyball Summer Camps last year and I really enjoyed using their serve machine and serve speed gun.
