I have been a membership of PCU for over 25 years. I adored 4 tellers, two of them are new since Spring, one is Assistance Manger and, one staff are Awesome except the manager is not really friendly to me because I am disability.

Their phone app isn't the most high tech, although if you're fine with online banking via Mac/PC, I'd recommend them. They have many locations in the Peninsula, their rates are very competitive and their phone/in person customer service is great. I've never had an issue that wasn't resolved in over a decade of banking with Provident. I'd definitely recommend opening on account.

Provident has been my primary financial institution for the last 11 years. They are great at keeping track of your funds and pay more than banks on their super-rewards checking. But it's the staff members like Angie Caldwell who make me happy with the service I receive. She went above and beyond to accommodate another appointment we had, completed the paperwork we were working on while we were away, all with an effort to make our banking easier.

Wow ,with a credit score of 744 and income of 160000$ you can’t get a small amount loan ,if they don’t want to give loan why they run people credit ,I don’t know what else they want ,maybe they want joe bidden or Donald trump to co sign for you . do not give any kind of loan application they won’t approve it ,

Dylan Bowsky from Provident CU is very professional and efficient. Working with him was so easy . He was always available to answer my questions and concerns with patience and positive attitude. I could tell he cares a lot about his costumers and is Ready to work hard to get the job done . I'll definetly go back to him if I need another car loan and I highly recommend him .

Went to the Redwood Shores branch and was helped by Kelli K. Was greeted by my name, even though she has only helped me a couple of times. She proceeded to help me with all of my transactions, and without any issues on these transactions . She is stellar in her work, the best of any teller I have encountered at Provident.

The saga continues. The website has been down over 12 hours and it pops up to call their 800 number which has no option for help. Trying other options gets you to their quality survey. No quality here. Go elsewhere.

I am really sorry to have to write this post . My mother recently passed away and I am trying to access her funds . I have supplied the appropriate documents including the death certificate. It’s been over 40 days since my moms death has been noted . No one has reached out to me for updates . I have had to call several times. I keep getting the same answers and excuses. This is supposed to a wonderful place to bank with awesome customer service . Well not today and not ever this whole experience is still unresolved and has been awful.

Update on PCU Credit card.. I received a letter from their visa department on Feb 13, 2022 informing that they either received my recent address update or from USPS informing them about my address change. Has my credit card ever cancelled as what PRC confirmed? You be the judge.

Terrible customer service at this location. Thought it was just one experience with a male representative the first time a few months ago but same bad experience with a female representative. I am stopping auto deposits and will move to another bank due to their poor customer service. Management should re-evaluate the staff at this branch and why the service is so poor.

Doing business with Provident Credit Union is consistently easy and pleasurable. Offering better loan rates than "traditional" banks, it's always a no-brainer when needing to finance a large purchase. Enter my info online & get their best offer within 24 hrs. What could be easier? And given their best offer is better than anywhere else around, the choice is easy Willing to communicate by phone, email or whatever method you prefer, they are quick to get a hold of, quick to answer questions & they have consistently been able to address my inquiries without needing to follow up or "get back to me" There's also no prepayment penalty and who doesn't love getting the balance down sooner than planned Communication is quick and efficient and the staff is always courteous & friendly. You've got a repeat customer over here!
