This place is terrible! Don’t ever count on booking a reservation and finding what you want. You show up and they tell it’s not there. Even jf you have a discount code confirmed they can’t modify your reservation for you. 0 options. My story was longer but no one was helpful nor the store nor the loyalty program. I ended ip paying extra because they weren’t helpful.

I’ve been renting at this location for over a year now as a President’s Circle member and all my rentals have been a success. The staff members are always nice and extremely helpful and patient.

Rented from this location and was very happy. Henock was extremely friendly and customer oriented. Note to all: this is a neighborhood location not a large airport with a ton of staff. Give yourself extra time and show up earlier and expect a few minutes of wait in line. It’s not the end of the world. The staff were friendly and super helpful. The car was clean and the exact type I had booked.

I hesitated renting from here based on the reviews but the agent at SFO didn’t add liability insurance so had to come to add it to my existing reservation.Henock helped resolve the issue and even offered to upgrade the car for the inconvenience caused. Everything went smoothly and I had a blast riding my rental! Would defiantly come back again :)

If you can't tell from the reviews, this place is dumpster fire. The guy working the desk is either clueless or a total snake - I'll let you decide for yourself. Showed up 30 minutes early for my pick up expecting a long wait due to the holiday season. I was informed my car wasn't ready and it was off site but I could upgrade to a small/mid SUV if I didn't want to wait. I chose to wait... in the hour I waited, I heard the same pitch offered to everyone who called or walked in (clearly he wanted to get rid of this small/mid SUV). After waiting for about 20 minutes he told me my car wasn't there but I could have an electric sedan. Based on previous reviews about the Hertz electric options - I declined, stating an electric car would not work for my trip across the country, and I would rather wait for my off-site car. Almost 30 minutes after my reservation time he informed me he "didn't realize" my reservation was one-way and the off-site sedan he thought he had wouldn't work for me. The only vehicle he had for me was the small/mid SUV and while he could up charge me he "wasn't going to because of the situation" (What a nice guy, right?). Let me tell you... the small/mid SUV I wound up with was awful for the drive. It had a 10 gallon tank and we could barely drive for three hours without having to stop and fill up again. Avoid this Hertz if you can.

They gave us an electric vehicle that doesn’t charge. It was broken. We went to so many charging stations and it wouldn’t plug. Ended up pushing the car in the middle of the road and then getting it towed and paying for that as well. They now are not able to help us or give us any refund. They somehow still don’t understand our issue. We even sent them photos of the outlet on the plug clearly broken. They don’t want to handle it. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. On top of that we paid for the insurance to cover things like this. Never again.

Needed to call to extend a rental that starts with an H and therefore requires contacting the local branch and they never pick up the phone during normal hours (tried four times and each time going to an annoying menu to get to the local call option). If they cannot serve customers they should just close the branch.

Recently rented from this location. While from the get go had a iffy start, the customer service nailed it on the head to bring this rating up. I had initially booked for a guaranteed Tesla model Y that wasn't ready or available which was a bummer. I only booked this location because of that. I was told afterwards that all Tesla models are currently in low stock around the bay. However, considering that, the staff was more than willing to accommodate by giving me another model of the same vehicle. It wasn't ready at the time of pickup but the staff really worked to make it right by the time I returned the car. I appreciated their friendliness and efforts to help waive some additional fees as a result of the inconvenience I had from waiting for the vehicle after pickup time and not having the guaranteed model I had originally booked. I'd be more than willing to come back heavily because of the staff (Henoch and Beth).

I went in with a reservation for a Midsize SUV and they upsold me a 'Luxury Full size sedan' aka 2022 Dodge Charger for 140$ more saying they were out of SUVs. The infotainment system, gear etc was more archaic than my 2014 Prius. Now I am stuck with this metal junk for a week. Pretty disappointed.

What’s the point of reserving and paying AHEAD of time if they don’t have your rental available the day of!!! We received NO call nor email prior to the day of reservation or even the day of. Delayed our entire trip because they don’t feel it’s necessary to give a heads up or a upgrade free of charge due to their lack of efficiency

The no frills office is very busy so don't come here in a rush. They do the best to their ability to get your needs met with clean late model cars, mostly electric only a few gas engines.O.K. 4 stars now happy?

Beth and the driver that picked me up were both fantastic. Beth has a sense of humor. It's bad enough that you need a car because your own isn't functional, but it's nice that they were both efficient and friendly!

had a very good experience. Staff were really nice and helpful. Everything was very quick and smooth. There was no hidden fees or anytging of that sort that you usually see in car rentals.

A car repair place said they would rent a car for me while they fixed my car, and they chose Hertz. They took my information and told me I'd only have to have a $50 deposit on my card and it would be returned to me. they ended up charging me for the whole rental, not the car repair place, and they have not fixed it yet, its been a month. I have called 5-6 times to get my money back, and they claim to have called their head office, but they are liars. Don't let them take your card info if you are not supposed to pay, they will keep it and charge you. Manager said it was an honest mistake, but they are not being honest about getting my money back to me. Rent from Enterprise!
