I got here late, and my reservation was not on file, even though I had paid ahead of time. After much hemming and hawing the gal who answered the office door sent me to another hotel for the 1st night, promising to save a room for the rest of the nights I had paid for.The room has seen hard use, the maintenance seemed haphazard and unskilled, and the wiring looks to be genuinely 50+ years old.The walls are thin and someone seemed to be building something in the room next to mine.Definitely going to have to find a better place to stay while in town.Rooms: Old, poorly maintained, but clean. Hot water takes quite a while to get to the shower.

They have roaches in the rooms not very clean and service is bad do not recommend it to anyone not a place you would want to spend your money on that's for sure would suggest you go to another motel and get your money worth..

I booked a night in this place through Expedia. I wasn't expecting much obviously because of the price. When I got there there was a huge pile of garbage on the side and a half- naked man waving a stick around. The dilapidated shack had cracks on the walls, dirty curtains, weathered and missing roof shingles. I didn't even get out id my car and left. You'd better off sleeping in your car than staying in this disgusting place that needs to be bulldozed to the ground.

Great staff, family business the 2 sons are Aces. The OG in there is the understanding, no nonsense ,security lot watching OG. Great guy.Nearby activities: 711, downtown is right there. Great neihborhood

The Garden Motel is now a, "gated community " in the hood. The good people who purchased the property are tearing it down to build a brand new Hilton Express! Allegedly.Good Luck to all who manage and clean this relic.

Would not make my worst enemies spend the night here. Had to leave after an hour because ticks were coming out of the bed. No refund, couldn't speak english, smelled like an animal had died inside.
