Just moved here from Weaverville and was having problems with my online banking. Went to tri counties bank in Redwood City and Ed Wong spent a half hour helping me get my account up to date and ordered new checks for me. He is definitely a shining star in the banking community!

Tri-Counties Bank, both the Redwood City branch, and the entire company generally are very consumer friendly, and go out of their way to provide customer services. I recently had to deposit a check at closing, and they were able to handle it even though I was late in getting there.

Andre did fantastic job with an issue related to my personal checking account. He went out of the way to help me when the Half Moon Bay branch let me down. At the Half Moon Bay branch I experienced the highest level of unprofessionalism that was atrocious. Not only was he pleasant and professional he seemed to really take my inquiry seriously! Its a bummer when the money you work so hard for is taken due to a DMV error , lucky for me Andre saved the day. When things get messed up with your bank accounts it's really important to feel like your bank and its associates are on your side and they will continue to work to help you resolve your issue. These five stars are for Andre and his team in Redwood City. Half Moon Bay First National Bank you really suck and need to improve your customer service skills. I'll be more than happy to drive 20 minutes out of my way to deal with professional bankers.

I cannot express enough my detestment for this bank, if I could cancel my account there I would but unfortunately I cannot due to circumstances beyond my control. The managers (past and present) are rude, condescending, and judgemental. They try in every way to avoid doing there job and frankly I feel bad for the tellers that have to work under them (the tellers are always very nice and try to be as helpful as they possibly can). Also dont bother calling if you want to dispute a fraudulent overcharge on your card because they're basically going to tell you that your on your own ("does that make sense?" 🙄)

If you like long lines, tellers that are unfriendly and don't know who you are, than this in not your bank. I have been banking with FNB Norcal for over 10 years, and the service here is outstanding. Not only do they not have lines, but all pretty much know you by name, and are happy to serve you. I have had accounts at the bigger banks in the past, and after my experience with FNB Nor cal, I would never open another account whether business or personal at those banks. As for Saturday service, the branch in Redwood city is not open on Saturday, but are open till 6 pm daily, the branch in San Mateo is open on Saturday. Thanks Redwood City branch FNB Norcal for doing a great job.
