Paco and associates are the best! Our family of 4 has been coming here for at least 4 years now, wife, perhaps twice that. Paco seems to know what looks best on each of us, and has nailed it each time. SO HAPPY that this group made it through Covid, and are thriving now. 5+ Stars for Paco.Service: Haircut

Paco is really good at cutting men's hair. I've been coming to him for years, and always does a consistent great job. Comparable haircuts have cost me considerably more . He has a great sense of what looks good on you. Not all barbers are artists, but Paco is one. I used to not care and go to one near my work with a one-size-fits-all approach, but at some-point my wife hated these haircuts so much once that tears poured out of her eyes. I learned to appreciate the artist's touch.Service: Haircut

Full disclosure: I was forced to cancel my appointment so I cannot comment on their technique, only on their customer service which was horrendous.Originally the salon was highly recommended to me. I needed a bleach touch up and haircut. I called the salon and spoke with the owner, Paco, and ended up booking a haircut and color consultation with Joanna. I was quite excited!However, the very night before my appointment Joanna TEXTS me asking if she can reschedule me. Since I have four kids and needed to get a babysitter for this appointment in the first place, I said no I could not. However, I did ask if maybe she could do the bleach at the same time as the haircut and sent a picture of what my hair currently looks like. She then tells me she does NOT cut short hair. I said I never heard of such a thing with the hairstylist before, and that Paco never mentioned this when I booked my haircut as a new client. She suggested I talked to him which I did the next morning.When I again expressed my frustration with Paco about not being told she doesn't cut short hair and the difficulties I went to to get this appointment in the first place, he told me I was passive aggressive and had negative energy. He told me he did not want my business, and I ended up canceling my appointment because I did not want to go to a salon that treated a new client so poorly without even knowing my situation. I also don't want a hair stylist who isn't well versed in all hairstyles because this makes me question their training.I'm sure Joanna is great at color. People have told me as such. But I refuse to attend a salon that treats people offensively and rudely, and I suggest you think twice before going here if you've never been before.And definitely don't go to Joanna if you have short hair. She's not trained to cut it.***Updated response to Paco's reply: I think it's pretty clear from your response that you aren't willing to understand my frustration. Your response to my negative Google review and lack of apology is just as hostile as you were on the phone with me. You have never met me, I'm a brand new client, and you called me passive-aggressive and labeled me with bad energy -- all because I expressed my frustration with you not letting me know Joanna's inability to cut short hair when I called to schedule the appointment. This oversight, combined with Joanna's late night text requesting a time change to my early morning appointment, was extremely frustrating and this is what I expressed to you.Rather than going back and forth in a "he said/she said situation," let's use this as a learning experience: I will always ask a new salon if they cut short hair, and when a new client calls to schedule a haircut you not assume just because I'm a girl that I would have long hair and instead provide pertinent information so that neither one of us is in this despicable situation again.I did misunderstand your phone comment about hair cutting, and have updated my original review to reflect Joanna's preference.)

Paco was great. He did a great job cutting my hair. He evened it out and l left the salon feeling fabulous.

my mother and I have been going to Paco and Johanna for almost 6 years! amazing people & vibes. johanna has fixed my fried hair over and over, i've gone blonde, balayage, highlights, darker, etc. never a disappointment! paco has taken my mom from dark brown subtly to blonde to gray! amazing place.

It was my first time dying my hair I went with Johana and she did such a good job! I loved my results she definitely got my vision & over all customer service was great. I was a little nervous walking in but as soon as I sat down and spoke with her I felt much more comfortable. I definitely would trust her with your hair!

I've been going to 5th Ave Salon for a couple years now. Before going there, I didn't have a main hair stylist. I would try new places because I wasn't always too happy with my hair cuts and was looking for the right one. Since I have started getting my haircuts with Joanna, I don't think I can trust anybody else with my hair. She is always so nice and welcoming. Paco greets me everytime I come by. I am happy with their customer service and very pleased with Joanna's work as a hair stylist. 5/5 would recommend.

I had my thick wavy hair cut by Paco and loved it! Most stylists cut the wave out as thats the easiest thing to do. Paco took time to analyze my hair and wave and cut appropriately. Very easy to work with and the Salon was clean and pleasant. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!!

Came here again for a root touch up and lighter tone and paco and his team did an amazing job again. They truly value your hair and won't do anything they think will damage it. Also with the trim my hair grows back FASTER

It's hard to find someone who can cut long tick hair. Paco did an exceptional job, I'm very happy with the outcome! My hair looks great. He is very professional and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend him!
