I had been shopping here for about 5 years but I'm done until this store turns things around.Tonight, an actual rat ran from underneath the produce area to under an aisle. Thinking i missed something, i looked down only to see it scurry under another aisle. I told the produce guy about it and he replied "oh yeah they come in from the back all the time" and did nothing. Grossed out, i put my stuff back and walked out. I did tell a manager on the way out who said they would look into it immediately. This was just the final straw. I had purchased fresh pasta a couple weeks ago only to find that it was long past the expiration date and kinda gross when i brought it home (i reached out to the local manufacturer to alert them of this). There's been a door broken in the deli meat section of the back wall for what seems like weeks. No attempt to shield the door or anything. Quality had also just seemed mehh in the last three months. This was a really nice store that i will miss.

such a great local market and i can walk there from my house! the great thing about the local market is that they carry many local brands, which helps our small local businesses. i especially love the selection of baked goods, pies, breads, scones, all from local bakers. they do carry most of the recognized name brand produce, dairy, cereals, etc...so even if you don't want to buy local, you can still buy the nationally branded items. this market is family-owned, and you can feel that small town, local mom and pop when you're shopping and checking out. you feel welcome, unlike the larger chain supermarkets. although i walk here, there is definitely lots of parking on site and on the street.

01/21/24 I'm back. I like the produce at Dehoffs and sometimes they have good sale prices on items. The organic ginger pricing has been resolved! Today I went in and it was priced better at $4.99. That's way more reasonable than the crazy $8price. Thank You for correcting it. Now if only they knew they can bring in ginger from Peru instead of China

Outrageously high prices! Like higher than Whole Foods or a remote store in the mountains. This is second time in a week that I walked in, looked at the price of the item I came for, and walked back out and went to another store. The first was bread. When I saw the bread that I usually pay a max of $6 for priced at $9-something, I thought they tagged it wrong. Nope. Then today, eggs. I get eggs at other stores for max of $7 for good varieties. Here, $10. I walked across the street to RiteAid and bought the eggs I needed for $5.29. I used to shop here regularly. Not anymore. What happened? Go somewhere else and save your money.

There's cheaper places to buy food, but if you want quality, this is definitely the place.

Location is convenient, prices are high. The bbq ribs in the deli sold as baby backs are def not baby back's but a St Louis cut, got whacked $17 today for 5 single bones. I asked for some sauce on the side so the lady poured about a cup of sweet baby rays over them in the cardboard container, then she weighed out the ribs, the sauce and the container all together on the scale which jacked the weight up to 1.5 lbs. No point in complaining because only one person back there speaks English and I was basically told 'oh well thats how we do it' , felt like a real rip off. The ribs were bereft of meat and super chewy too. Bought some tri-tip that they bbq in house and the flavor is mostly a lot of salt, not a hint of bbq. Nothing special, no smoke ring on the ribs, altogether a bleh experience. Will never buy either product there again.

Support ur local Establishments decent sandwiches prices are on par with sandwiches on the Mid Peninsula. Key Market jacks up their price on drinks 3x compared to anywhere else but one of these Sundays I'm gonna try the BBQ.

Food selection for a picnic was delicious and the service friendly. My friend lives nearby and did not know of this place. She was so glad I found it on Yelp!
