Davies Appliances in Redwood City has been great! JASON LEI was the salesperson who answered my questions about products and placed my order. He worked with me through a few construction delays but had my order delivered when we were finally ready. He has answered questions promptly. I have already recommended Davies and Jason and will continue to do so.

We purchased a complete set of appliances approximately two years ago from Cory Polk at Davies Appliance. Despite our construction project taking longer than expected, Cory has kept most of our appliances in their inventory for a long time, as he had originally promised. From our first interaction, we have been very impressed by Cory’s product knowledge, his pressure-free sales approach and his genuine dedication to our satisfaction. In a world where online and no-touch sales have dominated most transactions, it’s been very satisfying to work with a knowledgeable and courteous professional like Cory. If you live in the Bay Area and want to purchase new appliances, you owe it to yourself to meet Cory and be delighted!

We bought our Wolf range from them 10 years ago, and loved it, which is why we went back for our remodel. The products are good and arrived on time, but the customer service and support should be better when buying high end products. The people they sent to install our stove, oven and down draft were not knowledgeable especially for the downdraft. he couldn’t answer if it would be fully functioning after the ”installation”. when we went to complain of this Dennis said he he has better guys, but they usually only do the “big”’jobs! I guess spending $20,000 isn’t enough to get the professionals. We had to order a side panel for the subzero fridge after the fact, because it doesn’t come with it , to our surprise! that was delivered with out the necessary specific screws that said were included. We called and emailed and no one bothered to call or email back. we definitely won’t be going back to Davis!

Davies Appliance consistently delivers 5 star customer service, they are experts on all things appliances and is our main "go to". My parents encouraged us to check out Davies Appliance when we needed a new dishwasher a few years ago. We worked with fabulous Dennis Morelli who guided us on the best replacement and we were so happy with the installation and the Bosch dishwasher! Fast forward five years and we needed a new washing machine. I emailed Dennis and he responded SO fast, provided very specific answers to my questions and set us up with the best new LG WashTower, side vent, installation and takeaway. We were also very happy with the installation company they work with, who were/are clearly experts at what they do.
We highly recommend Davies Appliance - they have a wide range of the best brands and competitive prices and really care for their customers.

Our interior designer recommended that we reach out to Cory Polk at Davies Appliance. She was absolutely on point to recommend him as he gave us top-notch/5-star customer service that you rarely see these days. He took the time to explain the features of the various brands available and answer our questions to our complete satisfaction in a very relaxed and friendly manner. We felt very comfortable ordering a complete Thermador kitchen package for our remodel and receive a nice rebate/gift with purchase special resulting in an outstanding value. Since we knew our old gas dryer was on its last legs, we added a GE Ultrafast Combo 2-in-1 Washer Dryer to the package at an amazing deal from Cory that also resulted in nice rebate from the Bay Area Regional Energy Network (BayREN) since it is an energy efficient heat pump dryer (no gas and ventless). Also, unlike the old days when you wouldn't want to leave wet laundry in the washing machine overnight, this washer dryer combo is a game changer as we can throw our laundry into the machine before going to sleep and when we wake up, the laundry is not only washed but it is dry...Amazing! Lastly, the coordination for the delivery was superb and our requests were honored quickly and efficiently by Cory (messages and emails resolved quickly within a few hours...even on his days off) that made for a great experience (and loyal customers for life). Simply put, if you need to order any appliances, you absolutely will be pleased to work with Cory and the Davies Appliance team.

Working with Davies was the easiest part of our remodel. They are highly knowledgeable, responsive and genuinely care about customer service. They were incredibly flexible when our remodel took much longer than expected and followed through with the highest integrity. Special shout out to Chris Chambers, he was fantastic!

This rating is only for the appliance installer Brian Mahnke recommended by Davies Appliance. Davies Appliances deserves a five-star review.We had a terrible experience with Brian Mahnke. He hooked up the hot and cold lines for our washer incorrectly and as a result, we lost a lot of money on cotton sheets, towels, clothing, etc.He left a big chunk of plastic inside the kitchen sink garbage disposal and we had to deal with ordering a new garbage disposal and correcting the problem.He told us a part of our expensive Miele hood was broken and his solution was to glue it. After he did not show up for weeks to correct the issue we contacted Miele and they sent someone to replace the part for free and completed the installation.Our Miele refrigerator and our Miele Oven's water lines were not hooked up for weeks. He did not show up to finish the job instead of our multiple requests. Our contractor had to hook up the water lines.Our refrigerator and oven were making lots of noise for a very long time. It eventually went away but we are worried that there was an issue with installation.After we contacted Davies to let them know about our experience, my husband was shamed multiple times by Brian for doing so!Unfortunately, we had to pay him in full in advance and we could not collect any money for the damages incurred by his mistakes.

These people are amazing! All around phenomenal customer service. I’ve been going to them for years for various situations because getting their in person help vs shopping on the internet is superior. We needed a large refrigerator for our teachers staff room and they were ridiculously helpful to find a cost effective, super nice option. Chris Chambers helped us get something in within a day or two and it was delivered with care and installed. I was so grateful they took the old broken one away and were so professional especially being so accommodating to make it during the short delivery window during school hours. I’m so grateful to them and super bonus that they are a local family business.

This review is WAY overdue. We recently needed help getting an affordable refrigerator for our staff room and had a very limited budget. The folks at Davies were super kind and helpful and had the refrigerator purchased, delivered, and installed with a couple days. It was absolutely crazy how fast they were and communicative. The delivery gentlemen were accommodating and very polite/professional especially when letting us know the delivery times given that the delivery window for our business was tight. They made removal of the old broken refrigerator look easy! I'm not sure if I've ever bought an appliance that hadn't come from Davies. They seem to have access to every appliance to fit unique situations like when I got my dishwasher (very narrow). Or my built in microwave which was not easy to find a suitable fit to match the broken one. I love that the folks at Davies are a family and I love how personal they make the experience when working with them. I always price check and shop around when buying large items but there never seems to be a good enough reason to go anywhere else. They have quality items at affordable (competitive) prices, their customer service is phenomenal, selection is versatile, and the speed at which you make a purchase to having it installed/delivered to your home is incredible.
