“LUX Mobile Car Wash is great! I first spoke with Anthony and expressed my desire to keep my car looking clean and shiny for as long as possible between washes. Anthony recommended to me that I get their SPS Graphene coating and WOW!My car used to be dull and just plain ugly, but after the SPS Graphene coating package, my car looks better than when I bought it! In between washes, my car stays much cleaner for longer periods of time, the hydrophobicity that the coating adds is absolutely amazing (significantly better than a regular old wax), and the best part of the coating is that it lasts 5 years! “This is my first time here. I had to get an emergency car wash after leaving work. Surprisingly, it wasn't too busy. They had a lot of car washes to choose from at a reasonable price. Post covid, I'm still weary of people cleaning and touching the inside of my truck. I chose an exterior car wash and followed the signs. It was super easy and fast. My car wasn't completely spotless, but for the price, it wasn't bad. I'll definitely be back soon.”

“I go here early in the morning. Not many wash bays ,about 5, the equipment is always in working condition and it's not expensive. Machines do a really good job cleaning my car.”

“PS - see update below.Original review. I was washing my car here regularly in the past and liked this place. As other notice, one card swipe now "costs" 10$ what makes this station quite expensive. I want to see the sticker with the price tag by the card swipe machines. In my recent visit, they charged me twice for every time I swiped my card what resulted in 60$ total. I will be disputing this once credit card transactions are posted.Update 10/09/2023. Changing my score from 3 to 4 stars. Three additional transactions were cancelled automatically (never transitioned to "posted" status). The remaining three became 4$ each. That's probably how their payment system works. 12$ looks reasonable to me.”

“Well, I made the mistake of setting the correct pressure and the manager very kindly corrected my mistake. It was my mistake that I set the correct pressure and someone else gave me the correct one. I set 11, what time is 13, that is a good attitude from a good person. staff thank you”

“My car was in much need of a wash but due to social distancing I needed a place where I could just drive through a machine, no contact with anyone and have the scrubby rollers do their thing. Fortunately, the Chevron off Whipple did the job! As I drove up, there were only about 3 cars in front of me. When I was next in line, I did have to slide my credit card and press the touch screen once to indicate I wanted the $9.00 wash. I keep purell in my car so I was able to wipe down my card and my hands. The wash took a few minutes then I was in my merry way home leaving all the 20 Lbs+ of car grime behind. It's not the most thorough of washes but my car is cleaner than it used to be. Thanks Chevron Car Wash!”

“This is the Chevron Gas Station at the corner of Veterans Blvd & Main Street in Redwood City, CA. It has a food mart, a carwash, a fairly spacious lot, and multiple islands (with one pump per island). It has a nice location on Veterans Blvd, just a few blocks from Kaiser Hospital. I was just here last week with my coworker. I got gas, some snacks and used the restroom. Sorry, I can't review the car wash. I'm guessing alot of the poor reviews are from car wash users. I have a tip for you: mechanical car washes that use rollers or brushes will leave swirls, streaks, and fine scratches on your paint. "Touchless car washes usually use harsh chemicals to clean your car, then use high pressure spraying to clean it off. If you're okay with all that, then there's no problem. The price of gas was about average for the SF Bay Area. I had to get mid-grade to offset some cheap gas I pumped the night before. I went inside to use the restroom. WOW! This restroom was super clean. It was like a showroom for bathroom fixtures. The food mart was clean too. It was well stocked with all the snacks, drinks, and candies. BTW, do you know why gas stations sell junk food? Very rarely do you see celery sticks and melon balls. Drivers are usually in a hurry. It's a fact that hungry drivers get tired faster, and you don't want to stop again do you? So it's a good idea to grab a drink and a snack for the road. Maybe something to wake you up. I'm sure you'll find something in this food mart. So, average gas prices, clean restroom, and well stocked food mart!Oh, and friendly service! The lady clerk was very friendly and joked about high prices on the snacks. Located between Jefferson & Main St, on Veterans Blvd.”
