Its a pretty low budget motel it has good amenities a refrigerator and a microwave and a clean bathroom but the decor is dated and the TV is from 1990 but if you just need a cheap place to lay yoir head for a night or two the bed is huge and comfortable to my taste I would recommend if you had no other option in price range
Walkability: You are right on El Camino Real in redwood city
Food & drinks: There are a few restaurants in walking distance

The Capri Hotel, with its grim atmosphere, is plagued by an infestation of pests, creating an unsettling environment. The presence of questionable individuals adds to the aura of a place that has fallen on hard times.
Rooms: Smell terrible

The only thing this place has going for it is the location and price.
In my opinion, the room was very dirty and not clean. A strong odor that made it hard for me to breathe so I didn't spend the night there. Didn't feel too safe either.

Good Place Was Able to Stay Here with a friend on a voucher who got out of prison who was able to get one I have been trying for two years with cancer to get one but I'm not a felon. Manager was cool

Budget motel with friendly guy. Easy access to public transit, quiet even on busy street. Target and shopping is across the street.

Definitely I do not recommend it at all. Very dirty, it smells terrible ? the bathroom was not washed, there is a lot of humidity in the furniture.

It's disgusting, the lady treats us very badly until we called the police because she charged us too much for the dirty place and they searched my suitcases when we were not in the room. Please take into account that the place was very dirty, it smells bad, they were the worst experience in the hotel. my vacation was the worst part

so the county has a account with this motel with a voucher for three nights for homeless families and such there was a misunderstanding of the number of ppl thats suppose to be on the list and she was really rude about it when I went to ask for another key because of that since she seen more then one person as listed from the county of ppl that were suppose to be there she started harassing me and called the cops after I told her the lady from the county will sort it out. its a common misunderstanding with families and case workers from how fast and waiting period takes workers overlooked it so all she had to do was confirm the number of ppl again Instead she continue to harass me by callin the cops and my friend who gave me a ride from work was leaving when the cops blocked him in and arrested him for whatever reason and create unecessary problems of hardship to my life because she had malicious reasons or discrimination of some kind. after knowing i had a paid room under my name and nobody was being threaten it wasnt needed to escalate the problem by harassing me because there was no problem or threat to call the police on me. This place needs to be blessed by a priest and the manager or front desk lady has a low iq and overacts to things she isnt trained properly to do. Poor customer service

This place is funded by the county of San Mateo for inmates when they are released from jail if they are homeless and have nowhere to go . But the people that work there are very rude . They always are all up in your area . If you smoke cigarettes and go outside the property to smoke they still bother you . I thought they would be happy that people are NOT smoking in their rooms . But nope, not the people here. They are never welcoming and treat people very poorly . If you need an extra towel , be prepared for a few questions as to why an extra towel is necessary . People that work here should find another job because it's obvious they are miserable.. I would not refer this place for a hotel stay . Go somewhere else because this place is underfunded and has the bare-minimal of anything

Staff is extremely friendly. Plenty of parking. Rooms are clean and orderly. Nice and quiet. Shopping center across the street, with a Target. Carmen and Jimmy (Front Desk Staff) made me feel welcome.

I will give you fully update when I leave from here I have another week here, microwave burnt!! inside refrigerator you must have ice to make it cold cockroaches on wall and in drawers ,come here from Hospital to get will ice box is not work will so I have to put ice in it to keep it very colder

It is in the perfect location and street for business. All you need is in close proximity to you. The rooms are decently made. I've suggested the Capri to several people who in turn did the same. So worth the stay. Try it!
