Alex was super nice and patient and fair. I went in to get brake pads replaced but he admitted that I didn't "need" to still, but that he would do it if I wanted. I decided just to get it done. Took maybe 20/30 mins and I'm glad it's done!

I came here for a Wheel bearing replacement and a Air Filter, I brought my own parts, they charge me $150 wich is the best deal i've ever get, they did a excellent job and also really fast, around 10 minutes.friendly staff and helpful.I really recommend this place to everyone

This is a very honest and good place to get your car fixed. Alex is very helpful. He started off by changing my car’s thermostat and after doing extensive testing, he realized that one of my fans (A/C fan) was also not working. He replaced both fans (A/C and Radiator), the coolant reservoir, added new coolant, and did everything well. Car works great now and his labor is very fair. You won’t be disappointed!

I've been going to Alex for most of my auto repairs (both gas and diesel) for 13 years now. He goes the extra mile every time, does not overcharge and actually tries to save the customer money. How unique! A real good guy. Highly recommended.

I am so angry and how poorly the work was done, the way I was treated and the fact that they wouldn't reimburse me after my car was aligned correctly elsewhere, it took me a week to calm down and write a civil review. I had my car aligned the first time, it was fine. Someone bumped it while parked and blew the alignment in just a few weeks time. Took it back for realigning and they did it wrong. Redid it, free, still wrong. Said to take it to my tire shop, who diagnosed it wrong and didn't suggest alignment. Took it to my mechanic, who said to take it to Reynoso's on Middlefield for repairs. Reynoso's was great and said the alignment was wrong and took it to the new place next door, right across the street from California. They diagnosed a bad rack and pinon, that the car was too dangerous to drive without repair and Reynoso's fixed it. It was realigned again by California, who sent me home with the toe set at 2.75 on the right, with the tires hitting the tie rod and screaming! Oscar from Reynoso's took it back next door and it was correctly aligned, with the toe set at -0.05. Not only did California treat me like an a****** and like I was trying to get free service repeatedly, after I paid twice and the work wasn't done correctly the second, third and fourth time, they would not reimburse me for the incorrect second alignment. The receipt showing it was correctly fixed elsewhere was hard to read, so they said it wasn't proof this car was realigned elsewhere in the previous couple of hours. Basically, they did a s*** job then accused me of trying to bait and switch a receipt from another shop, just to get my money back. Told my mechanic who referred me there and he said, "I bet the son did the work; always have the father do the work." The problem is, you don't get a choice, I didn't know that to begin with and I got ripped off. On top of that, the rack and pinion was bad, the car was too dangerous to drive and they sent me away 4x, not having told me that. Just go across the street, next door to Reynoso's on Middlefield and let them diagnose and tell you what's needed and give you a great alignment. Their shop with the machine is off El Camino on the side street, just across from the driveway to Uhaul truck rental, by the ramp that curves around to El Camino.
