This was my first time coming to this shop. Matt is very knowledgeable, helpful and awesome. Not only did he squeeze me in at very short notice but he also gave me a discount on the part which no one else offered. His prices are reasonable and service is excellent. He also went out of his way to clean some paint marks from the side of my car without charging me and without me asking him too. I'm so happy I doing this place. This is my Audi repair shop for the future!

- good value, clear pricing - very available and responsive, was able to start work within 2 days. Most other shops were backlogged and not responsive. Matt cares and wants to make it happen to get you back on the road - felt like I was checking in a lot, wasn't sure how the work was progressing unless I asked (or waited until end-of-day). Call them at 2:30pm if you're not sure what the plan is for a multi-day service - business-systems are a little old and disorganized, but really glad for responsiveness to text-messaging. Overall, glad to be a customer and would come back! Major or minor work both!

Over the last 15 years I have taken all of my vehicles to Bosch European in Redwood City. They are trustworthy, professional, and very friendly. The manager, Matt, is a very kind person and takes special care to see that each customer is treated with care. What is especially great is that Matt will make sure you only pay for what you need and nothing more. I love my BMWs and would not take them anywhere else but here. When no one else could figure out why my E36 was not passing smog, Matt's mechanics ran it down to a bad DME (which other shops said was impossible). Thankfully, Matt had my car passing smog and back on the road in no time. -Don

My Land Rover L4, 2010 went through several shops, including Land Rover dealership, with every code possible on, malfunctioning cruise control and car alarm firing randomly. It took 30 min to clear all the codes and make my car ready for the trip across the country. This is the place i have been using for years, initial with BMW X5, and for the last 8 years with my Land Rover. I highly recommend British European Motors to any owner of European automobile.Services: Transmission

Matt has been working on my Aston Martin for the past several years. He is one of the few mechanics that will work on Aston's outside of the high priced dealerships. The shop is great for performing almost all the basic services (oil change, brake service, electrical issues, etc). Matt has always been fair with his prices and offers an all important loaner vehicle while my car is in his shop.

I purchased my Mercedes E350 from here about 3 years ago. Started having paint issues and found out it was not only not the original paint but the rear quarter panel also had a ton of Bondo applied. My repair bill will now skyrocket. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. It may have been something this dealer was unaware of but one should trust them as professionals and able to assess their cars for such things. My advice is to avoid this dealer, no matter what kind of deal the price looks like.

This is the best car shop I have ever been to! Matt is very knowledgeable, courteous, honest person. Prices are very reasonable. I get a loaner car and the best service. Matt is available when I have emergency or just have questions. This shop is the best in the world! Too bad there are only 5 stars here. I wish I could give him 10 stars. This shop is highly recommended!

If I could've given it a negative review I would have. Steer clear of this place! Like other reviews, they seem in the up and up but they are not. Quote one price, charge you another. Worst service ever!!

My 14 year old BMW broke down on the way to work. I was not familiar with any local mechanics so the tow truck driver took me to Matt at Bosch. Matt was a pleasure to work with. They made time for me, solved my engine problem and had my car serviced that day. Would absolutely recommend Matt and his team to anyone in need of great repair shop.

Matt is a great mechanic! Very helpful and fair... reasonable pricing. I went to the Land Rover dealer and they wanted $2500 for what Matt ended up doing for $500. Go here instead of Redwood City Land Rover dealer!! They're theives.

Matt seemed like a good car guy. He seemed like he would take care of me, and the prices looked reasonable. I thought I was having a good experience bringing my car for service and repairs here, until continued issues forced me to reevaluate. Main issues: 1. For anything other than a basic oil change service, the car was never ready on time. Once, I went out of town, left the car with them for about 10 days, and came back to find they still hadn't completed the work. Work which was detailed and discussed in advance, not major surprises found under the hood. I understand if new problems arise, but not being able to manage your time? Why does that become my problem? 2. Poor communication. I asked for a repair to be done. When I picked up the car, I found out the repair had not been done, and instead some loose hoses had been glued in place. What? Why? Matt said he thought I sounded unsure about the repair. I showed him the messages where I explicitly said to proceed. I left in frustration. 3. Lack of trust in the work. On my Audi, the timing belt is inaccessible, so that becomes a major service. Matt suggested replacing the water pump at the same time, as it's also inaccessible, and if they already have the front half of the car opened up, I may as well. Sounds reasonable so I say okay. Fast forward 18 months. My water pump is leaking. I've moved on to a better mechanic, and we try to figure out why. After another labor heavy service, we have the leaky part in hand. It doesn't look like an Audi factory part. Is it aftermarket? What's the odd sealant that shouldn't be there? Was it ever actually replaced? Was it an honest failure of a newish part? The new mechanic can't be sure. There are better shops out there. Don't just go for the cheapest one.

Matt is a trusted adviser - he even suggested I sell my M3 rather than continue to service the growing list of issues that was resulting from its age/mileage.
