Store is under new management, it's now called I&L Liquor. I don't have much cause to visit liquor stores; this one is closest to my home. Coming from a state where only state stores sell liquor, and rarely drinking myself, liquor stores have always seemed grimy and creepy to me, but this one ain't bad. Owner is friendly and welcoming. They have a decent selection, more than a lot of places, and have all I go to a liquor store for. Nice addition to my local businesses to patronize.

These guys are complete idiots. Beware of expired items and beer that is not cold. Go here and catch covid as they don't enforce mask mandates. The owner Mike talks alot of s*** in Arabic calling customers dirty names. He thinks it's funny but customers don't. Get your lottery/beer/cigarettes somewhere else where they respect their customers.

This my first time giving a review because I had to on this place. Zero stars the guy who works there did not wear a mask plus he was Egyptian speaking Arabic on the phone with his friend and I'm Arab so I heard him calling me a slut and sexually speaking about me.

Decent beer and wine selection but at often higher prices than you could normally find. My issue is with the clientele that hangs around the store. The homeless congregate around the store and on the side of the building. This makes it quite uncomfortable to walk over and grab a few things especially for my wife. It also contributes to the trash in the neighborhood as these individuals just throw their empty cans on the ground once they are done. Too bad as this store is quite convenient (a block away).

This store has changed ownership three times in the last couple of years. Mainstay will always be liquor and beer. I like to pick up a bottle of wine and sit on the patio at Rice Things, eat some sushi and have a glass. Probably not legal but no one's ever kicked me out.
