Savoir Faire has been an excellent preschool for our kids. The teachers are patient, creative, and supportive. The students learn the languages surprisingly well. Our kids have split their time between the French and Spanish classes. Madame Fanny in the French class feels like an extra grandparent for our kids because they have come to bond with her. She is incredible with the kids and has helped me improve my French as well. The Spanish teachers of Patty, Patricia, Jocelyn, Nancy, and others have also been truly wonderful. We love Savoir Faire.

Savoir Faire language institute is amazing! We don’t speak Spanish at home, but I use it daily at work and was passionate about giving my kids this opportunity if we were able.We started sending our oldest child there when he was 3 years old. We had just moved to California and the pandemic started about 5 months later! After two years of preschool there, he qualified as a Spanish speaker for a dual language immersion program in the local public schools. He had a great experience in the 3 yo class with Ms Ana and then in the 4 yo class with Ms Nancy. Our second child started at 2 years old. He’s had a great experience with Ms Ana and now in the 4 yo class with Ms Alexa. Ms Alexa has really impressed us with the reading education she has provided with our second child. He is already reading at the kinder level with Spanish syllable that were introduced by Ms Alexa.SFLI navigated the pandemic safely with good communication to families. They have flexible extended hours which is great for our house with two working parents! They always take parent input seriously. When our second child was 4 years old, he started was having trouble falling asleep at bed time so we asked that he no longer nap at school and they accommodated this request immediately. Now, he works on math and reading/writing activities during nap time. This helped so much during bedtime routine at home. The teachers and assistants are amazing! They know all the families. They already know our youngest child by name and she will start there in October! It’s been such a pleasure to grow our family and have each child start with a solid Spanish foundation before they enter into the local public school’s dual language programs.SFLI recently expanded their Redondo Beach location to include infant care. It is such a beautiful, newly renovated location right on Redondo Beach Pier. They have a lovely outside play area that overlooks the ocean. The kids can learn Spanish in a beautiful location over-looking the ocean and marina. What a fun place to learn and grow!

I couldn’t find a better summer camp for my son. He enjoys the school and his interactions with the teachers and students so much, it is a delight to bring him to Savoir Faire every morning!

Both my kids attended Savoir Faire and we highly recommend this amazing school! They are attentive, loving, empathetic, and just like family. My kids loved their teachers and their friends. It is bittersweet to see my youngest graduate from this amazing school this year. They are the best!

I LOVE MY SON'S SCHOOL! My son started in October 2019, at the Torrance location. Like any 2yr old he suffered from separation anxiety... SO DID I... lol Anyway, long story short the teachers are amazing the children are the kindest, loving little people just a reflection of how awesome the parent community has been. VERY WARM AND SUPPORTIVE! I am extremely sensitive about my son especially because he is getting tested for Autism in a few weeks. Anyway, now 3yrs old even though he has some obvious speech delays.. he says a ton of Spanish words and I'm going to sound like a liar when you see the picture I attached, but he does not like making a lot of physical or eye contact. He was excited to see me for his pick up but then runs back to his teacher and hugs her long enough for me to take a picture. Words can't express how I felt. As a parent you can only pray your doing the right thing, that the choices you make and people you trust are the best for your child. Covid or not I am extremely confident in knowing my son is loved, learning and laughing!

Updating my review because our 2nd child has just graduated and is moving on to kindergarten. So that is 2 kids over 4 years at the school. The owners and staff are amazing!! They have a ton of combined experience. Handle minor issues that arise with grace and compassion. And even worked out zoom classes when we first went on lockdown so that kids didn't lose their connection to their beloved teachers or the languages they were working hard to learn. I should also add that both of our kids tested in as native Spanish speakers to dual immersion kindergarten programs. Both can write all letters, their names, and beginning to read. We have a combined 3 years at the preschool so far and couldn't be happier. The teachers are the best. Hours are great for parents who work. Kids learn so much and have a great time with all of their friends. I have and will continue to recommend this preschool to anyone interested in language

Our sons are currently attending this school and we are extremely happy that we have this amazing school in Redondo Beach. They have been at Savoir Faire about a year and can both now speak great Spanish; our oldest can also read in Spanish as well. They are able to switch freely between Spanish and English in conversation and understand how dual-language speakers translate (they routinely ask us for the Spanish word for something they only know in English).Apart from the Spanish-language instruction, SF is simply an excellent day care. The teachers are all caring and attentive. Our boys are thrilled on school days and actually upset on Saturday and Sunday! They have made great friends at school and look forward to going to school every day—setting them up for success when they eventually head to elementary school.

My sons (5 and 3.5) have been attending Savior Faire for about a year now. We’ve attended the Redondo Beach location and most recently moved to the Torrance site. I can’t say enough about how absolutely wonderful staff are with students and parents. They are caring, thoughtful, dedicated educators. My sons are so happy at this school. We are there for the Spanish language instruction hoping to smoothly transition to a dual immersion elementary program next year. Both my sons are more confident with their foreign language acquisition and are growing in ways I never expected. They absorb multiculturalism in a very fun way. They’ve made great friends and it shows in how much they talk about them at home . This is one of the few language schools (if not the only one in the area) that offers before and after care options allowing working parents extended time frames for drop off and pick up. I am grateful to have such a wonderful, play- based school that can balance the intricacies of structured learning through various play-based techniques.

Both our kids love SF & wouldn't send them anywhere else. The teachers are wonderful & caring & there's a real community atmosphere. Our eldest has been there 12 months & we're really impressed with how his Spanish is coming along - no one speaks it at home so he's teaching us!

Because of the superb care and the extreme attention to detail as it pertains to the children living and learning another language, my daughter surpassed the admitting standards for Kindergarten.I absolutely love the staff and the results that Savior Faire provides. My daughter graduated out and my son is in attendance now.I will really miss this team when he graduates this year.

This is not a review as much as it is a tribute. My five year old is finishing up preschool here this week, and there's a lot I want to say, but maybe it's best summed up like this: This place has my heart. We put a lot of hope and trust in preschools and preschool teachers. We want our kids to be safe and happy, to learn and to play. Like many parents, we knew we were losing the battle of speaking anything other than English at home, so we looked for Mandarin immersion programs. We toured a few places and while I don't know enough about them to impugn them specifically, the general feeling I got was one of coldness -- kids learning Mandarin by watching TV, owners who seemed fixated on competitive academics over all else. (Academia, I can state from experience, is not all that...) Contrast that with Savoir Faire. Such an open and caring environment. Kids learning language through the natural organic process by which they are uniquely suited to learn language, not through enervating rote exercise. Teachers that love what they do and have been there for years. Teachers that aren't shy about showing warmth and affection to their charges. Our little guy was so painfully shy when he first started, but day by day, Lynn the Mandarin teacher slowly drew him out of his shell, with constant encouragement and hugs when he needed them. Her regular assessments of how he was doing, what he enjoyed and what he needed help with, were always so thoughtful and incisive. She really understands and cares about him, and that makes all the difference. I'll get on my soapbox for a moment: We are fortunate to live in a place and an age that largely recognizes the importance of diversity, but all too often it's just lip service. All too often, in our daily lives we don't intimately deal with much diversity of background, culture, or race. And this affects our kids in all sorts of unspoken ways. They grow up in a world thinking that certain people are one way and other people are a different way, when in reality everyone can be every which way and the world is a richer place when that fact is understood and recognized. I love Savoir Faire because when I go in the door, I'm greeted in Mandarin, Spanish, French, and English, and I see kids of all backgrounds together. It's not lip service -- this is true diversity, and it's a vision of the world that I want all children to have and hold on to. I also can't write this tribute without mentioning something that isn't directly related to the school, but has been the source of immense wonder and joy for me -- being able to spend precious alone time with my little guy at the Redondo pier, where the current school is situated. Our routine was this: we'd drop off big sis at her school at 8am, then head to the pier early and hang out until 9am. $2 for parking, well worth it. We would walk along the boardwalk, buy fish food for 50 cents and feed the fish -- he can name all the local fish species now, it's crazy -- and then amble along. Every day is different - some days the tide is high, other days it's low. Some days the tug boats are in, some days no. He learned to notice things, and what more essential life skill is there to learn than that? In this age of catered experiences and on-demand everything, it's so refreshing to have an experience that rewards patience and quiet observation. Where the reward isn't promised or immediately evident, but is always always there, as long as you are open to it. Not all at once, but over the year we saw sting rays, sea lions, pods of dolphins, crabs, an octopus, and a pretty sizeable lobster, in addition to the daily opaleyes, Garibaldis, and calico bass. Anyone who has been to Redondo pier knows it's not a fancy place -- the pavement is in disrepair, there is bird p*** everywhere, and funny smells abound. But what an amazing thing to be able to amble around with your preschooler on a quiet weekday morning, looking for animals, learning to read signs, watching the fisherpeople, an
