The woman with the wide-body and slicked-back short hair at the check-in counter was unpleasant, rude, and seemed envious. Despite her claim that there were no upgraded rooms available, she refused to upgrade my husband and me. She's certainly not the type of person I'd like to encounter when checking into a hotel.Similarly, the heavy-set man at the front desk was also rude and dishonest. He, too, claimed that there were no upgraded rooms available. His customer service skills left much to be desired.

The staff is fantastic! Good breakfast. Pool and whirlpool not heated. No in-room movie channels.

Breakfast was absolutely excellent (and included in the stay, not sure why others have said you have to pay extra for it.). Walls and floors were a bit thin, but there wasn’t as much freeway noise as others have said. Rooms were clean enough (not spotless, but fine). As others have said the staff are amazing!

The beds are much more comfortable than the Homewood Suites. However, there is basically no floor/ceiling insulation, so you hear people stomping around above you. You can also hear the freeway if you have a road-side room. I have to bring earplugs every time I stay

This is awful experience. Staffs are very route . During the online check in we have requested, everyday cleaning however they have avoided everyday cleaning . Checkin time 12pm however they gave the last room around 11pm. We clearly said we have only one vehicle . However they charged parking fee for each rooms. But only given one pass. They clearly knew everything but they try to theft the money from everyone. The hotel management try to clarify all issues. We have requested compensation for this unstable circumstance however they denied everything . If anyone wants to stay with them. Please alert your bills and time . Improper time management. Find better hotels nearby. Toiletry systems are very old. Unuseful kitchen facilities. Even coffee maker is also damaged .

Overall it was a clean room and had a full fridge and dishwasher and small stove. The pull out couch was broken and we had to have staff come and pull it out. Complimentary Breakfast is served daily and its a good spread with several options. Service was good when you asked for it but it was not consistent with the schedule they set. The cleaning service does bedding once a week with extended stays.however, after the room service, the bed was made but never changed the sheets until I asked them to redo the room. The hot tub was not functional and the pool was not well kept. Parking was another issue. You have to pay additionally for parking at the cost of $20 per day. There is on site laundry facilities at a cost of $2.50 per wash and $2.50 per dry. There is also a small gym as well as tennis courts and basketball nets. It was a nice stay overall with a few hiccups.Nearby activities: It’s located right next to the freeway so there is easy access to all amusement parks within 40 mins with light trafficFood & drinks: There are a lot of food options for delivery and close by. Tomboy’s is directly across the street and they have a great selection of foods including burgers, sandwiches, burritos and more

Great place to stay away from the congested areas and the staff was fantastic!! Took care of all our needs and cost so much less on short notice than anywhere else. Excellent find. Only drawback is you may need to park a little further if you return late night as with most busy hotels.

Somebody was laughing all the way to the bank after selling the miserable sliver of land wedged immediately between the 405 and some train tracks that now is home to three basic business hotels. The entrance is hard to find, it's not really in city of Redondo Beach much less near any beach, and it borders a questionable section of Los Angeles. The Residence Inn was in midst of a management change in Sept '23, and didn't have any of the signature Marriott amenities in place, from dependable wifi to even the in-room televisions. One elevator was out, creating huge delays in room access (the elevator company didn't have a contract with the new management.)Also, the parking fee is a scam at this hotel.

We have great time here except couple things that the pool area noise been affecting our room at night and the TV was too old that could not connected to the phone. They may need a better noise prevent window and at least have adapter for the TV. Other than that we love everything here. The receptionist was nice. Breakfast food was good. Hot & cold water provided all day. Small cozy kitchen and bathroom bedroom all clean. The gym and pool and the fireplace area next to the pool all so nice and cool. They also have bbq area for families.

Good afternoon. I came to rest, rented two rooms, I was charged a deposit of $700 for two rooms for 5 days. It’s been 20 days since I left there, the money was never returned to the card. A court case is now being opened. There is one girl at the reception, very unfriendly, the towel waited for 2 days. No one cleaned the rooms:( it’s a pity that the whole rest was spoiled. When I called the reception to find out when my deposit would be returned, this girl picked up the phone and started being frankly rude. Draw your own conclusions.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I tried to check in after a long day of traveling and was told at the front desk that I had to be 21 to check in even though it says NOWHERE on the website that that is the case. When I was told the price of my stay as well, it was $1050 for two nights which didn’t make sense because when I booked it was $211 per night. I asked why it was so expensive and the front desk attendant said there is a $600 charge for incidentals? Absolutely unbelievable. Luckily, there is a hilton next door with amazing staff and lets 18+ check in. I will not be returning to a marriott in the future and please save your time and money!!!

Business trip. This is NOT Redondo Beach as the website states, much more Lawndale. Sketchy neighborhood and guest population. Rooms not thoroughly cleaned, found hairs on the sink counter (not mine!) Lampshades cracked, slow draining tub and sink (personal pet peeve in a hotel). Hotel doesn't appear that old but not very well maintained. Would not stay here again.

First of all, the entire staff is helpful, conscientious and kind, the bed was comfortable, the shower nice. However, that's it for the good. This Marriott International, Inc. branded property, is not a Marriott International Inc. managed property and there are a multitude of issues that clearly identify it as subpar.1st: During our stay there was no functional business center or printer available to prepare boarding passes2nd: The bathroom pocket door is heavily worn in need of paint3rd: The garbage disposal worked temporarily before backing up into the kitchen sink, then it simply dies4th: The bathroom sink has no drain stopper5th: An area of one hallway was dirty with debris6th: Our drink glasses were dirty, marred with handprints7th: If your room faces the front of the building you'll enjoy unbridled views of power lines8th: Finally, the HVAC system seems as loud as an airplane engineHence the odds are, you'll likely be much more comfortable at an alternative accommodation.
