Redondo Shores Veterinary Center has amazing Staff and Doctors. My dog and I couldn’t be more appreciative of the exceptional service and attention to detail. I highly recommend to anyone. Dr Cheng is a great doctor and very friendly.

We always have a positive experience here, even when it might not be positive news we are getting. The staff are so kind and patient and always willing to answer any questions that we have. I never feel rushed or like the doctors and staff are trying to take advantage of me. They will give multiple options when they can for different levels of treatment. We are so grateful to have found such a caring, thoughtful and trustworthy vet for our dogs

My 2 kittens got fabulous care at Redondo Shores. This is the best vet office I’ve been to and I’ve had pets all my life. I even worked at a vet office when I was in high school. By far, the best! Great group of people!

I am happy to have found this place. They provide excellent customer service, and Dr. Chang has cared for my dog for the past two years. My dog is very nervous, but all the staff knows how to handle him.- I made this review when the service was limited to curbside pickup.

I requested both a blood test and an X-ray for my dog at the same time to minimize stress from multiple visits. However, Dr. Chang informed me that the blood needed to be drawn again. Naturally, I was quite upset about this. When I returned to the vet a week later, I was present in the room with the technician and assistant during the blood draw. The technician initially had trouble getting enough blood from one leg and had to switch to a thicker needle. I thanked them for allowing me to be present with my dog, but the technician did not respond. This lack of acknowledgment made me feel unwelcome and undermined my trust in the staff. I couldn't help but think that they didn't appreciate my presence. I wouldn't have insisted on being there if the procedure had been done correctly the first time. Also, I called to check the blood test result after a week, and nobody knew the result. They said they would call the lab and did not call me back. I called them for a follow-up, and they put me on hold and said Dr. Cheng would call me after 5 p.m. What do you think about this situation?

Olivia has been on a journey, one that isn’t fun or jubilant, but anxious and worrying. She’s on her third surgery going onto her fourth and hopefully final mass removal. Dr. Cheng and the Redondo Shores team have been, and continue to be, nothing short of supporting. They answer every question and concern. Olivia’s surgeries have been successful. I thank Dr. Cheng and her team for that. I’m happy I chose them as Olivia’s primary veterinarian.

No matter who you work with at Redondo Shores, you will get great treatment and your pets will be well taken care of. Dr. Dirk Y. and Dr. Chang are the best. I have been going to Redondo Shores for many many many years. I don’t want anyone else looking after my dogs but them.

I recently transferred care for my dog to Redondo Shores. I am very impressed and happy with the caring staff members. Pricing also seems to be very fair compared to other vets in the area.

They always do their best to fit us in. I have two cats that are siblings and they try to accommodate bringing both in at the same time if it makes sense to do so.
The staff has always been friendly and helpful on the phone. I am very comfortable taking my pets here. Thank you very much to the staff!
Update: they are doing in-person appointments now since the covid shutdown. I was very pleased with the experience (although the cats were not ?). The staff really seemed to care about keeping the pets calm during the exam. I felt like they were thorough when asking how the cats had been since the last appointment. In my opinion, it's worth some travel time to go to this veterinary clinic.
