The lights are never turned on. Inside it smells things are cluttered everywhere. My son went for two days and we took him out of there. The first day we picked him up around 4 and there were no kids anywhere. He was sitting alone with lady in a dark room. The second day when we got there he began crying and did not want to go. We picked him up at 12:30 He was yet again alone with the teacher in a dark room. With his pants off, His pants were hanging on the fence outside. Which just did not look right. She stated that all the other kids were sleeping. Seems like they force kids to sleep in some back room.

My daughter attended Mrs. Ireanas school Sou d of Music and absolutely Loved it. Of course it being her first school experience it was a little rough at first with the whole separation aspect. By the end of the first week my daughter who is glued to me would not want to leave when it was time to go home. I would highly recommend this establishment to everyone!
Thank you to all the lovely teachers who make this school amazing.

Both of our kids went to this wonderful preschool and absolutely loved it!! Miss Irina and Miss Jaime are so loving, caring, and nurturing. They treat their students like family. Both of my girls absolutely ADORED them and couldn’t wait to get to school, and then wanted to stay LONGER when we came to pick them up...! We had been looking for an alternative kind of preschool for our kids because I am from Switzerland and in my culture, children PLAY until they go to first grade at age 7. We had looked at 15 preschools and did not feel good at any of them prior to finding this gem! We moved to the South Bay for this school! Even though Miss Irina wanted to start giving my kids homework at age 3, she completely respected and understood the fact that we did not want this for our kids... This preschool is play- and music-based, which we loved! We were also amazed by how quickly our kids learned shapes, numbers, colors, and letters while they were there! Our kids have always been excellent students throughout their academic “careers”. They love school, music, dance, languages, animals, people, and traveling, a lot of values which The Sound Of Music Preschool helped instill in them. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND you to take a tour! Your child will thank you for it!!

My family and I can’t say enough positive things about the Sound of Music Preschool. Miss Irina, the school’s owner/director, is a loving and caring person who treats each child like her own. In fact, she often goes well above and beyond expectations and places each child’s welfare first and foremost, often sacrificing her own best interests and off-hours personal time. Bottom line... we highly recommend the Sound of Music Preschool and request that all prospective parents be very leery of any negative reviews posted about this preschool. (Unfortunately, the South Bay daycare business is highly competitive and I suspect that negative reviews are often encouraged/solicited by unscrupulous competitors.)

This school is a diamond!
Sound of Music has the best pre-school atmosphere in the south bay area. It is a "colorful" place where every child will be ready for the world when they leave the school.
The days are enriched with music and dance!
It is a very unique school, unlike other facilities in the area, every child shines bright through song.
My daughter misses Sound of Music so much! She asks every day when she will grow small enough to return. The school has a homestyle floorplan that makes her feel like she lived there.
I wish I had more babies to send to Sound of Music. I have 5 children, some who went to pre-school in other areas. I have seen it all! Private schools, day care, overflowing pre-schools, after school programs-you name it.
If I could have, every one of my children would have had the pleasure of attending this school.
The staff are all very loving, and the price is very reasonable for a Montessori education.
This should be all Moms' first choice for ages 18 months thru age 6.

This school is one of the best in the area, and responsibly priced. The owner is a real hands-on owner and teaches the kids lots of music and art. We had our kids in Sound of Music for almost 5 years and would do it again!

My 2 children attended the Sound of Music and it was thoroughly an enjoyable experience for our family. Miss Irina & all the Staff had such compassion and love that was always given to the kids. The home cooked meals were such a bonus & throughly enjoyed by my picky eaters. I would HIGHLY recommend the Sound of Music to any family.

I went here to tour the school when I was looking for a preschool for my 20 month daughter. It was too easy to get into the school I was yelling hello hello to announce my presence since no one was there to greet me as I came into the playground and into the clasroom. Kids crying, the director was more interested in the deal she was going to give me for day care. We are talking about my child not a deal. the place was dirty and cluttered and she was closing doors to rooms filled with stuff. I would nt leave my dog here.. She never introduced me to the teachers even after I asked to see them...
