“I was at this place trying to find a walking cane because of the long time injury on my left knee! I could hardly walk because it is so painful. Janet was the person that helped me. She was very courteous, patient, knowledgeable, and professional. She basically asked me some questions and tried to find out why I need a walking cane? She showed me quite a few canes but I didn't like them because I worried about if I tripped the bottom of the cane; that might just be worse. She suggested that I need to treat the pain in my knee and showed me a few knee sleeves. She even tried to put one on for me and asked me to walk a few steps and see how I felt. I was surprised that it made my leg felt more stable and could walk a little better. It's less painful by wearing that knee sleeve. Thank you so much, Janet! I appreciate it very much. I will wear it until I can find a good orthopedic surgeon to operate on my torn knee!”

“I was born in the South bay frequenting our lovely beaches and never knew this place was here but I am certainly glad I found out. I highly recommend Pill Box for Human and pet meds! I was getting my prescriptions at Rite aid and was happy for years until last week when I decided I needed a change. This desire prompted a cascade of disasters and repeated transfers of scripts involving Pavilions in Rolling Hills and the worst/most incompetent/rude Pharmacy EVER Alberston's on 25th in San Pedro and finally to Pill Box. No one seemed to have my common meds and no one was admitting the truth that they did not have them and were back ordered. I was running out and needed a refill. I was told they were ready and driving all over town in the worst rainstorm in Cali hx trying to get them and on arrival found they were not filled but other scripts I never needed or asked for were filled. What's with that? In desperation, I called Pavilions again and asked for clarity on the stocking situation and who they thought had the meds and they recommended Pill box. Thanks Pavilions-good job. I had them transfer the meds to Pill box and they were ready that day plus there were several phone conversations to get it all right. Which I actually liked as the store apps on both Rite aid and Albertsons/Vons are poorly done, error prone, and confusing. The customer service at pill box was impeccable AND they knew their stuff. At Pill box: I spoke to a human that assured me they where ready. I spoke to a human that ran my insurance over the phone rather than a stupid website or app that won't take it or makes me put it in 50 times. I spoke to a human rather than get inaccurate texts saying meds were filled when they were not. It was cool. Pill box is easy to find one block off of PCH on a corner across from a Bev Mo. Easy parking in back and on the streets right in front. Tons of other shops in the area so you can fit a visit in with your regular routine. Rather than trust your family's health to giant chain where so much can go wrong trust these guys. Looks like they focus on one thing and they do it right. I am especially excited to learn they do pet medicine too. It is worth the drive to me.”

“This CVS Pharmacy is different from the others i've gone to because of its personalized attention, recognizing its customers by name, greeting them upon arrival or entering line for service. Always professional and get what you need done whereas so many do not have near the same kind of customer service or acknowledgement of me as a valued customer. Thanks!”

“We visit this store often. This store is clean, and well-staffed by the most courteous and professional staff. It is managed very well as all aspects of service and stock are outstanding. The personnel and management provide the best services and products. Waiting time is always brief as all personnel are very responsive.”

“In no way as a flex??, but I have visited my fair share of pharmacies and had to deal with endless rude, unprofessional, uneducated, extremely uncaring coldhearted pharmacists. Joshua, the lead pharmacist, and his entire team are absolute angels ?you would think when people are sick going through some of the worst things they'll ever face in life, or having to help a loved one experience any type of illness or trauma that pharmacies would be there to help??Right?? Unfortunately that is too often far from anything ypu get theze days, with so many pharmacist going off on some power trip or making you jump through 5 million hurdles of red tape. However, when it comes to Josh and the CVS parmacy techs, from the moment you walk in or use the drive through all the staff welcomes you with a huge smile and is extremely timely. Josh is ALWAYS trying amd willing to go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, safe and heard. They also will frequently try to expedite a prescription if it hasn't been filled, they maintain strong professional unbothered communication with doctors and best of all, if they don't have something in stock they either recommend a possible substitution or will go ahead and call other pharmacies to make sure they have it. So you're not driving around having to waist time. I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Josh, as he has helped me through many, many, a pickle. Whether it's my insurance fault, the Doctors problem or just a matter of stock or pricing Josh and his staff really care about their clients. And even go so far as to make you feel like you're part of a family, not just another number in line waiting like cattle to be herded along or to be poked and prod which so many pharmacists nowadays seem to do (As it's almost a power trip for them) I can't say enough great things about this place as they truly are an incredible group of human beings and I recommend to anyone and everyone ?? thank you so much for all you do for my family and I???”

The pharmacist, Moises, was not only very helpful, but very proactive in calling for the next customer, as I waited in line to engage with me. With his help we then successfully completed the “housekeeping and cleanup“ of the pending prescriptions. Thank you.”

“Linda and Nguyen are the only reasons I still shop at this Vons. They are friendly, professional and know my family and our pharmacy needs. I have a much more convenient grocery store and pharmacy within a short walking distance from home but as long as both Nguyen and Linda are at the pharmacy- I’m there.”

“The visit was a learning experience. A new prescriber changed the delivery method of a prescription and the pharmacy was concerned about it. The prescriber's office was unresponsive to the pharmacy calls. The Pharmacy Tech Ann-Marie and the Pharmacist Ms. Mary were accommodating. They took the time to help me understand the difference in the prescriptions. Pharm Ms. Mary explained the differences in terms I could understand and she suggested options for me. They took a reasonable amount of time with me.
Before leaving, I witnessed Anne-Marie assist another customer. Anne-Marie was explaining a delivery problem to a customer professionally and courteously. Anne-Marie has assisted me on multiple occasions. She is friendly and has an upbeat personality and a warm disposition. She easily answers questions or engages the pharmacist for additional help. Anne-Marie is why I use this pharmacy.”

“The customer service that Joshua Scheipe delivers is quick and friendly. Joshua has been very helpful when finding what I need every time I come in to store. Other employees aren't as approachable and patient as Joshua is. This location needs more Joshua's. Nothing beats great customer service, ask him what you need and he will prioritize it.”

“Called yesterday to find our if they had a certain vaccine of a particular brand and they didn’t have the brand I was looking for. However, the gentleman who answered the phone kindly checked for me in their system for such product availability at other locations. He gave me two other locations’ phone numbers where the product was available. This was a huge help. Thank you so much!”

I’m in town for a funeral and needed a photo printed urgently. I wasn’t able to get the 11x14 and the lovely young woman with black hair completed the order for instantly. She saved this outcome completely. I did not catch her name and I wish I had because today she made all difference.”
