Petco is okay. They carry the standard foods and products. They are a little more expensive than some other stores especially if you can find some of the same products at Costco. ( Kitty litter, flea medicine to name a few)

Grooming is horrible here and no customer service. Most of the people at the front are super nice but Jennifer one of the managers is super rude!! She's new and has a power trip but her title means nothing to the real world. Must be her first management position in life so she had me on speaker while speaking with me on the phone from Petco grooming for no legitimate reason. The level of professionalism and class is at the rating of ZERO. I addressed my concerns calmly and she started to panic as well as Justin lol. Neither of them could handle customer service amicably. Lisa is pretty nice and helpful. Everytime I took my dog here she ended up not getting her ears cleaned correctly so she got 2 ear infections from them not cleaning them thoroughly. It's obvious that Justin was rough with her ears because she won't let me touch neither of them!!!!! She won't stop shaking her head and and they're now pink. My dog also came home with bumps all over her body after getting groomed. I should've paid more attention to the reviews. I did contact corporate about Jennifer and Justin so we'll see if they make changes.

I took my dog to get his haircut and a younger female worker basically cut it so short he looked like a wild rat. My dog kept licking his body and wouldn't come out from behind the couch for TWO weeks. Turns out the female worker cut his hair so short I could see almost open sores throughout his whole lower body. I do not recommend this place for anyone who loves her dog.

I've been casually visiting different pet stores when I'm out, looking for supplies, treats, etc...for my Betta Fish. This Petco at 537 N. PCH in Redondo Beach had next day pickup on something I wanted, so I revisited it for the first time in awhile. I won't need to go anywhere else in the future! Their selection of Betta food rivaled the total of all the other stores I've visited, including many brands I had never seen before. I left with far more goodies than I anticipated! The store was clean and well organized. And Alex, the employee who greeted us and checked us out, made us feel very welcome. I am so happy I rediscovered this gem!

Left my doodle for grooming. They asked what length they wanted and they went the shortest all around except her ears. She has multiple bald spots like the one by her eye (gladly she wasnt hurt), and went for zero on her belly. Very disappointed, unless you want your dog to be quickly fully shaved with no attention, I would take my dog elsewhere.
