I went in for a clasp repair on a necklace and Bridget was very helpful from the get-go. She did her best to be accommodating for time, but unfortunately I was only visiting for a short while and was unable to get my necklace repaired there. I’m certain they would have done a wonderful job, and they have the necessary equipment on-site. I went to Michigan a few days later and today I went into a jewelry store where I was quoted twice the price that I was given at Finley’s! I was pretty shocked that there could be such a disparity. When I asked at the Michigan store I visited if they would return the original clasp (18k white gold) they said ‘oh, I guess if you want it back we’ll do that.’ ~ surprising considering that it’s quite literally worth its weight in gold! Moral of the story - go to Finley’s and have a pleasant experience with qualified jewellers. ??

Bridget has beautiful designs. My wife has enjoyed her jewelry for many years. The pieces are timeless. John is expert at diamonds. His advice is first rate. The overall customer experience is superb. Thank you so much, John and Bridget. I will never go anywhere else.

I went to a watch store in the Delamo mall and they wanted $50 to replace the battery on my watch. I called in and asked how much it was for a battery replacement. They told me over the phone it's $20 and it only takes five minutes. The staff was friendly and I was in and out in five minutes. Glad to see they're still honest businesses around.

Highly recommend. Friendly, efficient, local business owner. Needed a battery for my Shinola necklace watch, sat and read my book while my battery was changed. Also had my wedding band stretched. Easy peasy.

Owned by the terrible humans who owns the sketchy place...South Bay Gold. The owner is a criminal, not a local and will steal from you. The people at Finley's don't actually own the shop. It's this thief Sam. Go meet him, you'll see what I mean. Please contact me if you'd like to know more. The police are already onto this guy. Please don't give them your business.

I've had many very good experiences with Finley's. The staff are great, friendly, kind and willing to work hard to meet the customers needs. I've had jewelry repaired here and it is done timely and well performed. I also wanted to call out that custom made jewelry comes out amazing. I recently had a ring setting custom built for a stone I bought elsewhere and the Finley's team designed the exact ring I envisioned and it came out perfect. They sent CAD renderings prior to casting the ring and the whole process was very smooth. I am excited to work with the team for future needs! Definitely check out Finley's for your jewelry, watch and other needs.

I went to get a watch battery replaced today, and they told me it wasn't the battery, and I needed $140 worth of repairs. I went to Riviera Jewelers, and Sam replaced the battery for $15, and now the watch works just fine. Was it incompetence or dishonesty?

I’ve been going to Finley’s for decades, even though they’ve changed owners. Fortunately, the quality of their work hasn’t changed. Bought a beautiful wedding set in 2020 and they also do wonderful repair and restoration work.

John was great and I am so thankful for his honesty and compassion! We purchased a ring from Pasha, MB and wanted an appraisal since that seller had not provided one and we had an un-easy feeling (see my full Yelp review for Pasha Fine Jewelry). John called me back and alerted me his diamond tester was only verifying a few natural diamonds. We ended up going to EGL labs downtown and received a refund from Pasha as they were, indeed, Lab Grown Diamonds! John felt bad for our experience and did not charge me for the appraisal - very generous as none of this was his doing. Very professional and kind! While we ultimately chose to return to the online store where my engagement ring was purchased, I would highly recommend Finley's, they've been in business in RB a long time and I'm glad they have survived the pandemic thus far!

I was so nervous walking in not knowing anything about engagement rings. But John helped me and he was super patient and informative and was able to work with my budget. I walked out knowing exactly what I want.

Always friendly service and have my jewelry clean and watches fixed in a timely manner. Also used them to appraise some jewelry after my aunt died and they were so gracious and professional. Highly recommend. Jeremy is a doll.

I'm sorry to report that Finley's no longer feels like it once did. I understand times are tough, but their friendliest salesman is no longer there and the in-house jewelry repair guy has left as well. I went in for repairs on two occasions in Oct/Nov 2020 and no one working in the store (there were 4-5 people there each time) were wearing masks. It's a fully enclosed shop with no air flow and it felt irresponsible and disrespectful. I stood at an obvious distance from the woman helping me at the time and she finally clued in, saying "Oh, sorry, do you want me to have a mask on?" I said yes (I was wearing one) at which point she loosely wrapped a scarf around her face. ?? Men were walking in and out of the back room, also all without masks. There were no gloves - people taking my jewelry and handing it straight back - it all made me very uncomfortable. I normally like Finley's for the service and convenience, but don't want to return any time soon after this experience.
