Very expensive daycare and training, especially for the level of there services. I strongly recommend you research other trainers and daycare if you care about your pup.

I signed my Borzoi up for several classes here and had great results! We got him as an older puppy, so he didn't have the benefit of puppy kindergarten classes, but Rebecca was able to help get him up to speed. Before coming here we tried Zoom Room, but it was clicker based drill training which just doesn't work well for sighthounds who are very visual learners. Rebecca understands that all dogs have different learning styles and abilities and adjusted her curriculum accordingly so that he was able to succeed. I also love that she is strictly positive reinforcement; no pinch/shock collars here! My husband is a first-time dog owner and he learned so much from these classes. She creates a really supportive learning no-dumb-questions learning environment for both dogs and people. Years later we still use the "settle" training from her Pup About Town class when we go out to eat at restaurants and it works great. I get asked all the time by friends with dogs how I trained him and I always refer them to DBF!

I did virtual puppy class with Rebecca and cannot have better things to say about Dog's Best Friend. Rebecca went above and beyond every time to make sure I felt supported and had all my questions answered as a first time puppy mom! I love her truly positive approach and how much she cares.

Through consistent positive reinforcement, Rebecca is doing a great job with my puppy, Gus, helping him navigate all that comes his way. What a difference she has made in a short time, Gus will be sad when the pup program comes to an end. Highly recommend, Gus is readying for his best life with the help of Rebecca.

Rebecca is as knowledgeable as it gets when it comes to training pups, and their humans too! I first met Rebecca through my sister who has taken her pup to Rebecca for in-person training sessions. Even just watching one of those one-hour sessions was incredible. My boyfriend and I recently adopted a puppy in April and even though we are not local to LA, we were able to enroll in Rebecca's Modern Puppy class virtually due to the COVID pandemic. Rebecca's puppy class included six weeks on virtual instruction and homework exercises in addition to four socialization days with Rebecca and her pups at her business. However, because we are not local, we were able to register for the class at a discounted rate since we would not be able to attend the socialization days. I am probably most sad about not being able to bring our puppy to those socialization days because Rebecca is just truly incredible with dogs. For the Modern Puppy class, we met once a week on Zoom to discuss our homework for the week. Rebecca also used that time to answer any of our questions and to offer suggestions during this hour on things we might have been struggling with. There was one other couple in the class with us so it was great to have another group going through the exact same things with their puppy and for Rebecca to guide us. She more than once went over the allotted hour to continue our discussion which was so incredibly gracious. Every week we would send Rebecca videos of our assigned homework exercises for the week with our pup and she would provide really helpful and constructive feedback about ways to improve our technique or our timing. Her suggestions were always incredibly helpful. We will be beginning another class with Rebecca and that couple in July as our puppy becomes a "teenager" to work on more training skills and exercises. I could go on and on writing positive things about Rebecca, her business, and positive reinforcement dog training. You will develop such an incredible bond with your dog by working with Rebecca and utilizing positive reinforcement dog training that you could never achieve with any of the other types of dog training out there. I truly cannot recommend her enough.

When we got our first sweet pup we thought, how hard can this be? For us, it turned out to be quite hard. We were trying to wrangle this little golden tornado and just didn't have the right tools. Both my husband and I work full-time, so getting that foundational training in with no prior experience was daunting. We found Dog's Best Friend driving by and called Rebecca one morning we thought we had made the biggest mistake in getting a puppy. She gave us great advice and was so kind and patient! We ended up enrolling him in Puppy's Best Start, which was one of the best decisions we will ever make. Our boy is so well behaved and gets many compliments from other people about his training. We could not have done it without Rebecca and will continue going back to her for playtimes and other training classes to help our boy become a canine good citizen. Dog's Best Friend is the best investment you can make in your dog's future. Rebecca is gifted and she is dog parents' best friend haha.

Rebecca's instruction and training are top notch. She's very kind and inclusive of all dog breeds and sizes. We had a blast in her puppy class and made some new friends along the way. We look forward to the next series of training with Rebecca at dogs best friend in August.

We brought our puppy to DBF for weekend training sessions as a group as well sent him to spend the mornings with Rebecca four days per week for a month. She is the best. She is patient, caring and loves all the dogs that walk through the shop doors. Our little (95lbs) pup is still doing very well and he is already registered to refresh his skills now that he is an adolescent with all new quirks. Rebecca also worked with our senior dog and me to get her "Canine Good Citizen" certificate. Another wonderful experience. Our family highly recommends her.

I am so thankful to have been referred to Rebecca for my little Maltese! She uses positive training methods, has a clean dedicated training space and a really upbeat personality. We are on class two of a six class session and I hope to continue on with more sessions after this session is complete. I will update my review with our progress and more details after the session is complete. She is amazing and I am driving over an hour to attend class with her.

These classes changed me as a dog owner! My puppy and I (Venus) took Puppy 1 and 2 with Miss Rebecca. I can't imagine what I would have done without this class. The training style is based on patience and kindness. I love how they respect dogs and treat them like the family members they are. My puppy is such a good girl because of this class. 10/10 would recommend. The lessons we learned will follow us for her lifetime and we still practice what we were taught every single day!

In the Pawlished Pup group class, my puppy learned valuable skills that mesh perfectly with the objectives of Guide Dogs of America. And that's a good thing because she's a future guide dog for GDA. Rebecca shows how to train your dog to respond to commands and then takes the training one step further. The dog learns to behave without your having to give a command. For example, puppies learn not to pick up something when told to Leave it. But then Rebecca showed us how to train our puppies not to take things, even when we are not around. Imagine leaving a dog alone in a room with a bowl of chips on a coffee table and coming back to find it untouched. Until this class, I would have thought that kind of behavior was only possible in an alternate universe. Enthusiastic 2 paws up for Dog's Best Friend.

Signed up for the manners class based on all the 5 star reviews. Took my recently adopted Lab mix to the first class and discovered he was bigger than all the other 5 dogs combined. Rebecca essentially ignored him and catered to the "little" dogs that were easy to handle and would follow her reward method. My dog was a handful having just left the shelter and when I asked what would be the best way to get him under control, this class was what was recommended. If you have a little dog, you may benefit from her classes, if your dog is over 20 pounds you may be better served elsewhere.
