I call this place for shade/curtain for my house. There was only one lady taking care of all Hunter Douglas clients. I paid the nonrefundable $200 for the measurement, then one guy came did the job. I came there 3 times after the measurement, and talked to the sales lady. Every time the lady promise she will send me something, however till today, I got nothing, not even the measurement report. Once when I came there with my wife, the sales lady was sitting there watching a movie. She was so concentrated until we asked her some questions. Sorry for the interruption. Her promise was consistent, but so was the result.I planned to use Hunter Douglas for all windows in my house in the first place. After one month waiting for the quote, I left several slide doors to Hunter Douglas, but go with another brand for all others. One week after my last visit, I gave up working with this store. My 1 start is for its Hunter Douglas department, not for the paint department. I think Hunter Douglas should reconsider working with this place.

If you are not a professional painter, and want to ask for help or recommendations for your upcoming painting job, and have the staff get really ticked off at you, then this is the place for you! I found this out very quickly when I called and asked if they could make a recommendation for brushes and other items for a small project. I mentioned that I had an existing small can of paint which was from another vendor, and I was promptly demeaned as if I had done something egregious, told to read the label and if I still needed help after that then I could bring the can in and ask him. Wow, was I ever eager to make the drive over! No, actually I was not, so I drove to Woods Ace Hardware on the corner of Sepulveda Blvd. and Palos Verdes Blvd. in Torrance, to be helped by some very nice and helpful people. I bought everything I needed, and left without being shamed, which I felt was a huge bonus! Woods Ace Hardware also has Benjamin Moore BTW.

I came in with a crazy request for a bunch of samples with colors tweaked 25% and 50% stronger. They accommodated all my crazy requests, these guys are the best!

Michael, with the patience of a saint, helped me in my quest for the perfect off-white. I bought q quart each of almost-the-right-color and a quart of matte white, sponge sticks, and white foam-core boards.With 3 colors and white, I can while away countless hours at home combining and experimenting. Then, I'll return to buy ten gallons. What fun!Great store.

I'm a designer and working with Joanna, there is so great! She's so creative, helpful, and attentive when it comes to quoting. I love that this particular "Paint store" has such a wide and wonderful variety of wall paper and fabric/upholstery! Likewise: the peeps at the paint counter are great too! Thanks, y'all!

Aside from the well known quality of Benjamin Moore paint, the staff here has been exceedingly helpful to me in giving advice, preparing my samples, and efficiently getting me in and out of the store quickly. This is my favorite paint store. I won't shop anywhere else for paint.
