“We visited Ferguson on Marine Ave to look for a replacement of our old Delta shower set. Paola helped us by showing possible alternatives and narrowing down selections based on our preferences (type, color, water pressure, shape design, etc.) and compatibility with the existing plumbing system. She was very professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. She spent over an hour with us going through the whole process, and in the end, she spotted a tiny incompatibility of a diverter setup that cannot be fixed unless we commit to a larger renovation project (tearing down the wall/tile). We ended up deciding to stick with the existing shower set for now, but Paola was still sincere and very helpful with our questions on much smaller items over email communications afterwards. We would definitely come back to Paola when we go for the new shower set.”

He answered my questions, led me to the products I was interested in and gave me my space to decide. I purchased a washer, dryer and dishwasher. The payment and delivery schedule was seamless. The delivery and set up was performed by two different knowledgeable pairs of technicians. They contacted me via text and phone for delivery confirmation and arrived at the scheduled times. “Gotta love Costco!! Best gas and car wash prices! But they should install vacuums for the car wash.Wow— Their staff is so kind and patient!! I came in here at about 7:00 on a Friday night. You know I was not done shopping at 8:30 when they closed. ??I asked an employee about it, and she said they “sweep” the store starting at the back and work their way to the front (gently “guiding “ all the customers to the front—my words; I don’t mean anything negative by that?.) So I knew I could continue shopping until I was spoken to. ???????So that’s what I did!!??????I was able to get through almost the entire north section of the store before I got spoken to. ($600 later!!!)A young man “caught” me and very politely and apologetically said, “I’m sorry ma’am, we’re closed.” I began laughing and said, “Ok it’s cool. You tell me where you want me to go—a cashier line or self checkout?”He showed me the self-checkout to go to, and of course I had so much stuff that I needed help at least four times!The young man that was staffing that area was also very kind, helpful, and patient. The lady at the next register and I had gotten into a conversation as we were scanning our items. I had become so engrossed in what she was saying that I took my phone out to write some notes.This employee waited very patiently for a break in the conversation to ask me for my payment card. I felt a bit bad because I hadn’t realized he was waiting for me for that. But he was very nice about everything.So even though I spent $600, I feel much better after my Costco therapy—it helps a lot after a long, hard week at work!!The optical department has really hard workers, too. They wanted to make sure that all of us got served before closing. I told the lady, “You can only do one thing at a time.” It bothers me when companies pressure people like that because I know what that’s like. I’ve been living that for 30 years at my jobs.My thought is, “If they don’t get to me before they close, then it’s my fault for not getting here earlier.”Also, regarding optical: without insurance, they’re going to charge me $200 for lenses that my other optometrist charged me $479 with insurance!!But I want to get a luxury brand for my next pair of glasses, and this Costco doesn’t have many frames by luxury brands.However, the optician said that they have tons of different frames in the back. So their selection will change by the time I come back with my prescription, which I’ve already gotten recently elsewhere.But Costco now has a virtual try-on for frames online. It look’s like it should work very well, and I’m looking great to trying out. I’m hoping to get some frames by Louis Vuitton, Prada, Dior, etc,GREAT JOB, COSTCO!!!!!!”

“I'm so surprised that blue air has no reviews because we purchased an icemaker for a business that was leaking and normally a company, in our vent experience with other companies, we at times dealt with sweat the customer (us) - or try fix in the unit first with perhaps failed attempts and then we're down in this case our ice machine without any ice. We called and the tech came out the same day to assess the machine and the next day they just gave us a new machine installed it very professionally took the old one away. No hassle no haggling no this or that no finger-pointing that I was by looking forward to or would normally get from another company. (Apology but im somewhat effected from past experience with companies backing their product). So refreshing and super appreciated by us we will definitely use them again and would recommend them for sure to anyone.”

I called the store and spoke to the manager, Ricardo about our concern. He listened. He was respectful and understanding. I felt heard and satisfied with the situation. But it wasn't over. “I can't say enough about the service and knowledge of our sales representative Vincent. We explained that we have a small laundry closet, gave him some measurements and he had a recommendation. It did not stop there, he asked for photos of the laundry closet showing tape measurements to make sure that what he was suggesting would fit. He called right away and assured me that the washer and dryer would fit and that these units were the best value not by price but longevity. “If you're in the need to have a vintage oven repaired, look no further than A&B Appliances. Frank, our technician, was fantastic. We have an original Westinghouse oven, which is in very good condition. The heating element had stopped working. Frank was able to get it working again and the oven heats to the desired temperature as well. I can't recommend A&B Appliances enough! A++++”

“To whoever curious because spray paint was locked up, you should know that that's a California criminal law requirement. It's not Lowe's fault. (If you want to look for somebody to blame blame taggers.) I also think the public should know that they offer discounts to seniors but you do have to ask. I'm not crazy about any of the huge stores because I really don't want 10,000 choices I just want some reasonable ones so that I can pick--but I can guarantee you the store has never mistreated me in any way shape or form.”

“I usually go to Hollywood Home Depot and I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived here today! It was clean as I was walking in, as we entered everyone made eye contact with a smile and greeting. When looking at some wood boards We were asked to move so that they could use the fork loft to put something on shelves, but they were confident and pleasant when asking us and nice. I walked up to some employees to ask to borrow a pen and they readily made eye contact with a smile inquiring what I might need help with. There was no chasing down employees they all seemed eager to help with the Exception for one woman, but there's always the exception! Ron was nice and eager to help and cut our boards for us and seemed happy to help. All in all, it was a nice breath of fresh air!”

FYI you have the option to pick up your items instead of delivery if you choose they give you a waiver. It's located on Crenshaw and imperial inside the shopping center next to Jack-in-the-Box and they also have a smoke shop there for those who enjoy tobacco do we mention five guys or even a grocery store. As far as the furniture they have anywhere from PlayStation five Xbox series X off the top employees here are pretty cool I have a friend that works here been on them for 30+ years.”
