Cashier will round up on purchases to avoid giving coin changes. Item was 3.11 and he rounded up to 3.15. Con man.

I will say, the staff here used to be really friendly and on top of everything not that long ago as through 2022 and early 2023. However, the past few visits have been neglectful with an overcharge and attempt to overcharge. Once was a promotional deal that had them charge sales tax on items they entered wrong into their system then applied a discount, to force a correct price adjustment but the sales tax charged was based upon the higher price, so I ended up spending about $1 more on a $6 purchase, which on a % is like paying a15% overcharge. Then, when checking out for a $2.20 purchase using the app for special pricing the cashier neglected to scan the app code in fro t of him and asked for over twice the amount due. The lesson here for all who may visit, know your prices. Check what they charge. Review your receipts. I am assuming they might even garner more revenue off of i attentive customers who just pay whatever the cashier says without checking or validating. It's a shame because they used to be on top of their transactions.

Absolutely LOVE THIS 711 !!! Sam ,the owner is so nice, food is always fresh. All staff are kind friendly and more than happy to help you with anything you need. I once dropped my twenty dollars on floor the cashier was the only one in the store, he could have easily taken it but HE DID NOT! He yelled out to me ,"mam, you dropped your money!" I was so grateful! I enjoy going here! They do cash app loads 24/7 and I they sell the best scratchers cute holiday stuff and great selection of candy snacks and beer as well as most all the many different varieties of soda and teas and energy drinks and coffee drinks too! Just the best place! You gotta try it! Always clean. Stop by grab a scratcher and see, you just might love this place as much as me!

Do not come here. Their ATM will steal your money and they won't do anything to help you. I tried to withdraw $340 here. It took the money out of my account but gave me no cash at all. I told the owner who said he couldn't do anything about it and to call my bank before brushing me off to go talk to his buddies. I've spent hours on the phone trying to get this resolved. This store is a joke.

Remodel looks nice. I wish they fixed the wall with the clock. I've been to many other 7-Elevens and they updated the clock wall (Mira Costa High location being among them).

The worst 7/11 in the South Bay. I treat myself to a Slurpee a couple of times a week and go to many 7/11's to get different flavors of Slurpee. For a large Slurpee the cost is $2.18, when the worker told me it was 2.40, I asked if the price went up over night because I purchased the same Slurpee for 2.18 yesterday. The worker was rude and condescending saying i was wrong, I asked for the manager. An employee named OP (NAME SHOULD BE BO - FOR BODY ODOR) who was also rude, dirty and looked like he hadn't showered in weeks came out and explained that gas prices go up everyday and so prices of other things. I then asked if Slurpee prices fluctuate like gas prices? He told me I was rude and that I had to leave, I asked for a refund and he wouldn't give one and then another customer who heard the argument offered to pay the money. I immediately left and went to another store and ordered the same thing. The cost, 2.18!! I took the receipt back and OP wouldn't look, listen or accept any responsibility for over charging customers. When you read the other reviews overcharging and rude employees seems to be a common theme! STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE AND SMELLY OP!!!!!

Yesterday Friday the 20th at 10:00pm was my first time coming to this locations 7/11, and i was more than happy with the customer service of Jamal. He was very careful when ringing up my items and was very attentive; i also noticed that out of all the 7/11's in the area this one is the cleanest and best stocked location. Before today I would mainly go to the 190th location but they never have everything in stock (not good if you have a craving), and the guy who works there seems like he hates his life and is always smashing peoples chips. From now on this will be my preferred 7/11 where the workers are friendly, respectful, and attentive like Jamal.

The cashier who's always there is very dishonest and tried to take my money. When asking him if what I bought was part of the 2 for $3 he replied yes and still charged me the full amount. Didn't want to give me the receipt and when I got it found I was overcharged. He took 10 mins trying to give my money back putting on a show like he didn't know what he was doing but really just wanted to waste time. This guy should not be there.
