Loved the Dr's super sweet and they dont try and talk you into a bunch of unnecessary tests just to get money like other vets do

UPDATE: OUR CAT DIED THE DAY THE MEDICINE WAS DELIVERED
Dr was very nice and encouraging, but meds had to be ordered 2 days later from an out of state pharmacy that was closed on the weekends. We were not told the cost of the medicine was $1750. Outrageous since we spent $1042 at the clinic. No transparency on med cost. Unable to purchase complete meds, all for naught. All costs unreasonable. Of course my daughter loves her cat, but there aren't even any guarantees this exorbitantly priced medication will save him.

Dr. Johnson and Brianna were on staff that day and they exceptional. Niko wouldn't have been so well behaved had they not been.

I've been using Vetco for years. They're great and you can tell they genuinely care for your pets.

They didn’t give my new puppy his flea and tick medication. We called when we got home. They said come by and we will give it to you. We went today and the agent says we can’t give it to you without a current weight. The puppy is over 7 lbs and the med is within the puppy weight.
Nothing is more irritating then a store messes up and then when one has to return only to find they won’t give you what they said they would!
Very frustrating!!

You know I had every good experience when I physically went there and had my dog appointment, the reason why I am rating it two stars is because when you need to call in for something and get a hold of anyone, the phone just rings and rings and rings and you don’t get calls back. I had an issue with my dogs medication her being off of it and getting the vet approval, they do not provide the medication on site, and they’re not returning the pharmacies calls. They’re not returning my calls and I can’t get a hold of anybody at the office and, I would say it’s a pretty important matter when it comes to a dog medication

Called yesterday to ask about vaccinations. The person who answered the phone asked how they could help me. I stated I was looking to get my pet vaccinated they said, "I'm sorry, how can I help you?" After repeating my question they said they have a clinic on Saturday. I asked if they could see my pet privately during the week(my pet is fussy) and they hung up.I would never trust my pet to an organization that doesn't treat people well. It only goes down hill from there folks

The doctor at this location would not give a booster shot because it was a day late. Several other locations said it was ok to be even a few days late. When asked for policy from vetco she printed out her policy and a "recommendation" from vanguard. When i booked the appointment, the location i called they were aware about the 1 day late and said it wouldnt be a problem, But it was to my surprise. I personally think its about an opportunity to make more money and has nothing to do with my buddies health.

Things didn't start out so good. I was always being left in a room while they saw people that came in after I did. I was there for 2 1/2 hrs one time. But, because of Vetco Premier I can see the vet & it costs nothing & I am a Targeted Individual & being made to wait is a big part of the battle plan against me. And it doesn't matter which place I'm at.
So, I no longer sit in the room & wait. I take a walk, sit in my truck, & go shopping. They've been awesome though because they track me down when their ready & I come back. And it costs nothing but time. Sometimes.
She had a surgery that cost over $1,000 & that was cheaper than the other quotes I got.
Overall, Vetco has been worth the time and Vetco Premier has been worth every dime. I'm going to keep using it.

RUDE and unprofessional groomers. They claimed my dog was aggressive and demanded that we leave. For context, my dog has been a training model at another Petco location in Torrance for two years. He has a perfect temperament and has been used BY PETCO to train dozens of groomers.Five minutes after I dropped my dog off at the Redlands Petco, my wife and I saw the groomer aggressively brushing our dog. She had complained to me that they were 'very busy' that day, and she looked irritated and rushed. My dog was clearly uncomfortable and in pain from his hair being yanked out.Seconds later, we got a text demanding we pick up our dog and claiming that he was being aggressive. NOT ONCE in two years of training Petco groomers had my dog been aggressive. At the training Petco in Torrance, it is STANDARD practice to greet and comfort the dogs when they come in. This calms them and prevents them from being 'aggressive'. The groomers at Redlands had not even bothered to greet my dog. When I picked up my dog, the groomer was rude and unapologetic. She offered no solution to calm my dog OR to reschedule. The grooming manager had conveniently disappeared and was nowhere to be found.Redlands Petco is the most unprofessional groomers I have EVER experienced. This department is clearly suffering from poor leadership and being overworked and undertrained. I sincerely hope this department receives proper training. Maybe then, they can stop unfairly blaming THE DOGS instead of their own lack of professionalism, as several other Yelp reviews have claimed as well.My beautiful and loving Schnauzer deserves better treatment than this after two years of service helping train Petco groomers. I hope corporate responds to this review or contacts me.

On Friday night I went to Petco in Redlands. Our reason was to purchase my daughter's first pet. I am very grateful for Justin. He was very knowledgeable, professional and nice. I would definitely recommend Petco in Redlands to everyone!
