This bookstore is the bestest and the cutest, specializing in children's books. They have a huge commitment to stocking diverse books - I always find gems here for my son that I didn't know I needed. Staff is incredibly knowledgeable. There's even a grownup section in the back with a great selection of books in a wide variety of genres. Their sticker/candle/bookmark etc... selection is also on point.

This is the cutest bookstore my son absolutely loved. Here he was upstairs downstairs he enjoyed the little table underneath the stairs. We were able to get parking right outside.

Cute little book store.... This place has been here for at least 30 yrs... you can find some great kids books here... Parking can be a challenge but worth it...

My 5yo granddaughter and I visited for the Halloween Storytime. We enjoyed the stories and the spooky harp music very much! The Frugal Frigate is a magical place!

I have always loved this store. As a child, as a mother with a child, and now that A Room of One's Own has been added back into the place, I love coming as an adult! The atmosphere is magical. The staff is knowledgeable and kind. I love the inclusion they offer for so many different walks of life. If you have a little one, story time is a must! I can't recommend falling in love with this place, more!!

I love this spot! This is what small biz is all about. Fantastic books, great programming for children, beautiful, inclusive (LGBTQ friendly) space - I highly recommend. Doesn’t get better than this and Redlands is lucky to have this gem!

Not being hateful but, I CANNOT recommend for this reason: I walked in to give it a chance and see if it was a good bookstore, but I could not understand why they would put so much LGBT queer sexuality propaganda. Just let kids be kids, they don't have to be pressured to think about that stuff in their young impressionable age. I would personally love it if they would include more books with Biblical values, so please let me know if you guys sell that as well!
