Such a convivence to have this store near my home. All staff members are very knowledgeable and helpful. I came in looking for something to help me with my swelling of my leg and the staff directed me to compression stocking. i was measured to my size and shown how to properly put them on and maintain them. My overall experience at sun medical was pleasant and i will definitely be coming back and recommending my friends to come shop here.

My wife just had a major back operation, and was released from the hospital with a need for a porta potty and walker. We made two separate visits to Sun Medical Supplies and purchased a $90 potty and $147 walker with tax. We also obtained a doctor 'referral' for a porta potty and a walker. Then at home I was ready to file a claim for insurance coverage. I found out from medicare that i as an ordinary citizen cannot file a medicare insurance claim, and that it has to come from either the hospital or a medicare licensed supplier. Why wasn't I told this by Sun? So I called Sun and told them that I needed to have them send in my claim. I was told that Medicare does not cover porta potties. So then I tried to get them to handle only the walker. Then I found out that the walker I purchased is not on their vendor's list of items which have a medical code for insurance coverage although usually the cheaper walkers (which is what I purchased) ARE covered. But for some reason, I was sold a walker made in China by Rollator and it does not have this code. Sun had ample opportunity to inform me at the time of purchase about the medicare non-insurance coverage of (some of) their items. Plus, they seem to only want to push their items out the door and let the customer go away and then get screwed by the lack of insurance on their items. So I am out about $240 dollars completely with no chance of even partial medical insurance coverage. Very unprofessional. Why didn't their sales person know about this and show me a walker that would have been covered by Medicare? Schlock outfit--check other options before buying there.

Received a box that was accordion look like an elephant sat on it after it had been opened and resealed call to try to resolve the issue got blown off put on hold just for the insurance department to not be working today when I called back and asked to speak to a manager. There is no manager there today not back till Monday they say next to call my insurance company.

Absolutely horrible customer service on the phone. Was hung up on once when I gave incorrect insurance info, called back with correct info, same female was rude and hung up on me again. People come to you in need and don’t need to be treated that way and cowardly hung up on with no accountability.

Purchase compression socks for 65+ dollars. I wore them 5 times and one sock started to fail at the toe. I went to the store and asked to exchange for another, they refused! All sales final! What the f**k? That is just bad business. Who is going to pay 70.00 for socks that only last 5 days!? DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE! BUYER BEWARE!! To the business manager that replied, your employee did not look at the socks or inspect my toes to see there are no jagged toes, all smooth skin. Further, I contacted the manufacturer and they warranty their product but you have to send it in to be determined if they will replace. You are flat out refusing to honor the manufacturer warranty and denying the consumer any ability to utilize the warranty. I hope you and/or your family get ripped off like you are ripping off people so you can see how it feels.

They are having less and less smaller items that we need to shop for and are going in to the larger items. I can't find what I need here anymore unfortunately because before they were my main DME company.

We had just the most marvelous experience here. We came into the store for a few things to help my grandmother get around, in her daily life.We had little to no clue what to expect or what would be helpful for her, my grandmother needs. However the lovely Jenny helped us with great suggestions and thoughtful insight.Jenny is a blessing, her customers service was excellent.

The manager from another location was covering this store and was so incredibly helpful when I came in to purchase and install a seatbelt on my daughter's wheelchair. Absolutely outstanding customer service!!!!!

I’ll be having a knee replacement and Carlos brought out my walker. What a happy, nice guy! Knowledgeable and efficient! He’s a keeper Sun Medical! He’s a man that loves his job and does it well!

I hate to be the one to complain I like to leave good reviews the way this company treated me is terrible I let the first time fly u gave them a pass when they gave me a million defective catheters days charged my mrdical insurance this time around I was given the runaround since November it's now February about to be March almost they gave me the run-around I spoke with them last week I was told that my medical supplies would be here and then out-of-the-blue they told me though they're not going to give anyone any medical supplies anymore they're no longer selling them only hospital beds so forget about the wounds that I've incurred while I've been waiting for months for my medical supplies which I would not have gotten if they would have did whatvthey claimed theybwere gonna do these companies do what they feel like and leave people hanging I would not go with them I would definitely find another vendor
