I have a 1992 imported diesel Toyota Hiace firetruck. It is a rare vehicle in America and difficult to find shops willing to take it in. Parts are difficult to find as well. After calling about a dozen shops, Solernos was the only one willing to work on it. So far, they’ve replaced my clutch, flywheel, rebuilt the stator and fuse box. They were very helpful in finding parts and patient when they took a long time to arrive. I am very thankful for this business. Mark the owner is a very nice and reasonable guy, the mechanics are very personable as well. Good service! 11/10, would recommend.

Mark, you were our hero today! Even though he was about to head out on vacation, he was still willing to wait for us to come rent a last minute 16’ truck since a reservation at another location fell through. He even honored a better price than the computer was charging. The deal was quick, the truck was in great condition, and all went well. Would definitely recommend!

Salerno's is a great mechanic shop in Redlands. Mark the owner is very helpful, the mechanics are knowledgeable and do the job right. If you have an older vehicle pre- 70's or you have one of those boring new computerized tin cans, these guys know their stuff

Do not take your car here, they will scam you, I paid lots of money and my car still didn't run, they kept on telling me it need other things to be done.

If you ever need repairs, tires or a simple oil change go here! They are reasonably priced, always do a fantastic job and very detailed with their work. Myself and my family take our cars here as he is trust worthy and does great work! I had a sudden major leak and they took it in same day and got it all fixed. I had a sudden major leak and they fixed the issue so fast and checked out everything to ensure there were no other issues. He does such great work. So reliable and I highly recommend taking your vehicle here for any repair, tire or simple oil change needs. You will get it done right, support a local business and pay reasonable rates.

Amazing service and quality of work! I've taken two cars here and both times was impressed with how fast and reasonably priced the work was performed. If you need any repairs done on your vehicle take it here. You will not be disappointed. He also keeps in touch with you on progress and ETA when it will be ready. Both times I've been here the work was done same day no issues at all.

My 2016 bug needed a oil change and a new battery. Mark was wonderful and explained everything to me. In a way I could understand. Kept me informed. He even gave me a ride home when I dropped it off and picked me up to get it when it was done. Personally himself. Took the time to do that. I would definitely give them 10 stars if I could. Thank you mark.

I drive a 2014 Volkswagen Beetle and needed service done ASAP I called the shop and spoke to mark. This place is GREAT! I got my car fixed in the same day. They're very friendly, reliable and helpful. Sad to say that as a girl just looking for help I've been ripped off a couple of times going to shops by myself but this place isn't one of those sketchy mechanic shops, they're honest and prices are good

Read the reviews on Yelp that said they were reliable & trustworthy I beg to differ. Don't take your car to this mechanic only if you can wait a month + for it to be repaired. Mark never called to give updates we had to continually call & ask what was going on. Got excuses & I'm Sorries. When I finally picked up my car Mark didn't compensate me in the bill for All his Sorries in fact the bill was higher. This may have been a good mechanic back in the day but it sure isn't today. Find someone else beware!!!
