My 2006 Prius shut off while I was driving so I had it towed here. It was after hours so I came in the next morning and let them know what happened.
The guy at the front desk was friendly and knowledgeable.
They did a great job and diagnosed and fixed the problem. Ended up costing me $1200. ?
I would have given 5 stars but the pricing is very high. $384 just to diagnose it. $185/hr for labor ($200 for foreign cars). But I needed my car fixed and I know nothing about hybrids.
Overall it was a great experience.

My son dropped his vehicle off for a dagnose of a noise underneath his car . He paid 192.40 . And received a full page of concerns but NONE ADDRESED HIS NOISE! ( it was more like a bunch of observations ) Turned out the noise he complained about was a very simple repair . this was very unprofessional and an abuse since they never told him what the cause of his concern was . I truly hope this shop can make up for this , but it seems maybe BAR should get involved . . Not cool .

Someone else found the problem, it a loose connection where the negative cable attached to the cable end at the battery post. Can't believe you guys missed that.

The individual on the phone is rude--interruptive, discounts my questions and concerns, and tends to blame me for my car's problems before the car has even arrived at the shop or been looked at!
And I've noticed that Redlands Auto Electric will almost never contact you unless you really push them. Otherwise, if you want to know how the repair is going, you need to call them every time. Even then, they often don't know.
Further, they take a very long time to finish a job. One time they did not even start on my car for over a week after I brought it in.
They tend to blame me, or something that was done long ago, for the problems my car has--they seldom own it, even when they did it. And they want to charge a lot to fix anything!
I'd encourage a different repair shop!

Dropped my car off at 8am and it was done by 4pm. They tested and fixed the EVAP system. No more check engine light. Very nice shop and people. Will use them again for all automotive repairs I can’t do myself.
