I have had an extremely disappointing and distressing experience with this auto repair shop, where I was a customer for a year and a half. I was referred to them by a few acquaintances, and my first visit was to fix an oil leak from the engine. Unfortunately, they did not repair the leak, and the problem persisted.
My second experience involved replacing the tire pressure sensors. Although they installed new sensors, none of them worked as they were all defective.
The third issue was with the engine overheating. They told me I needed to replace the water pump, thermostat sensors, and reprogram the cooling fan. Despite these repairs, the problem persisted, and the engine continued to overheat intermittently.
The fourth and most disastrous experience was replacing the front wheel bearing. During this repair, they managed to break the CV axle and the transmission. Instead of fixing the car, they completely destroyed it, especially after breaking the left transmission mount, which they replaced with another used part. I was shocked when I was told that to change this part, we had to take my car to a second workshop to fix this mount.
I informed them that the right and left CV axles had been installed less than two months ago, so how could one of them be broken? They told me that when they replaced them, they hammered the right one, which broke along with the transmission gear. I was shocked by what they told me, but they didn’t know that I had replaced both CV axles myself at home, and they were working perfectly.
About two weeks after this disastrous repair, while I was driving, I heard a noise coming from the left CV axle, so I pulled over to check the source of the noise. Then, a speeding car driven by two drunk men crashed into me at 55 miles per hour, causing bodily injuries, including a herniated disc in the lower vertebrae. All of this was due to negligence and carelessness in properly repairing my car. If my car had been repaired correctly, the CV axle wouldn't have broken, and none of this would have happened.
This auto repair shop is the worst I've ever encountered. They consistently failed to fix problems and damaged my car further.
Responding to this review and comment will not benefit me in any way. I have lost my car and my health due to negligence, carelessness, and lack of responsibility towards customers.
After this experience, I will never return to any workshop in San Bernardino County. Even if it costs me extra to take my car to another workshop miles away, I will do so to ensure it is repaired properly...

Excellent Service! Took my car in on a Friday for a bad alternator and some other things. Juan was friendly, very professional and thorough in explaining what was happening. Got a video describing the situation. The car was repaired quickly (within a couple of hours) and the price I thought was very fair for the services provided. They didn't try to sell me anything unnecessary which I appreciated very much. Would definitely use again!

RCAR in Redlands is amazing! They're friendly, honest, and compassionate. I have a Porsche Cayan that needed some work. They have done everything from oil changes to plugs and brakes. I won't take my vehicle anywhere else.

Juan is amazing! He exemplfies top customer service and goes above and beyond for his patrons. He has the best recommendations for everything car related. He is approachable, down to earth, and most importantly will not attempt to cheat you out of your money. After my service utilizing RCAR, I have not had any problems. Additionally, RCAR is one of very few places that will work on German cars. I cannot recommend RCAR enough!

Quick, Kind, and Convenient! RCAR took me in last minute and repaired my car before they closed. Everyone was really kind, and although car parts were pricey - I felt like I definitely got my money’s worth. THANKS RCAR !!

Avoid this place at all costs. Juan from R-Car gave me a bad check in the amount of $1500. I have tried numerous times to collect the money and even filed a police report, but Juan continues to ignore me. Do not do any business with this person.
