I have been going to see Kelsey at the salon for years even came back after the pandemic. Unfortunately, her father just passed away and I was one of her clients that day getting my hair done for my sons wedding after by her choice coming in to do my hair that day, she then proceeded to send me a nasty text message not once, but twice explaining somehow me wanting to get my hair done and asking people in the salon. If anybody else could get my hair done, she found offensive apparently and her pain she could not understand that I too had Wanted to get my hair done I’m looking for somebody else to do that was not out of line. I think she is an average hairstylist but if you’re going to go see her, she comes with a lot of baggage. All she could say was I was rude or not nice to the people in the salon which is a blatant lie. I said my deepest sympathies for her family, but I too, was stressed and frustrated, but in her eyes it was all about her.

This review is for Felicia Johnson. I had the most wonderful facial from her. She does a wonderful mini massage with her facials too. And Felicia is a wizard with eyebrows. She waxed mine and dyed them, and I'm so happy to have nice brows again. She is also just a pleasant, lovely person. Highly recommend her!

Gity is SUPERB! She has been doing my hair for a little over a year now and each time she really listens to what I want and tries her very best to do exactly that! The colour is flawless and I now have many of my blonde friends gojng to her as well! Gity is an amazing, beautiful and energetic soul who pours into her craft

My mom and I love going to Gity! She takes time and care to provide the best haircuts. I have been coming to her for years and have never been disappointed. Getting my hair done by her is an experience I am always looking forward to. Definitely recommend!

Gity is the best! I moved from Pasadena, CA to Redlands and wanted to find a great hair stylist. I am so lucky to have found the best stylist ever. She is a great listener and just wonderful at cutting hair. I love my haircut so much! Thank you Gity.

Gity , is my hair lady she's been my hair lady for a couple years and I came to her with the most damaged hair and she helped me repair it and get back to my normal self she's very sweet kind , respectful ! This is the only lady I'll let touch my hair . She always makes sure her clients are satisfied and happy when they leave Never Disappoints !!

I have been thinking of doing for some time. But I Agree with with one of the other reviewer's of the salon. Don't go to Gity to get any services done. She is very rude and mean person. have been going to Gity how a months. And I'm not happy she treated me. One time I had her dye my hair and she had another client come and she had me sit in the back room for almost one hour. Good thing I had phone with to keep myself company. And I don't think she even apologized for making me wait so long. I peaked outside the room and was busy talking to her client. Not professional behavior at all. I had gone to her about a month ago and she had me waiting for her to finish with a client for almost 30 minutes. From what I saw her client which was some older man. Was crying because he had s tissue in his hands. I wad thinking to myself. This is a salon not a therapy clinic to come and cry. It was as though they were having a therapy session. So rude and disrespectful to me. For making me wait so long. And then when she finally noticed I was waiting she had the audacity to not even say sorry that you had me waiting so long. Luckily I didn't say anything because I didn't want to start any trouble. So I guess she makes her own appointments and I had scheduled another appointment the beginning of this month and I had forgotten what day it was. She called me after the appointment had passed and left me a voicemail to call her back so when I did call her back she told me that she had just come in for my appointment and she was busy at home doing something and she came in just for me and I didn't show up. She also sad which I thought was very rude and mean that if I ever canceled her off again without telling her she would never take me to the client ever again. So I am never going to that salon ever again because this lady makes me very angry.

Been going here for twenty years. Everyone is really friendly and great at what they do. You will not be disappointed no matter who you get. Salon is very nice, clean, and has a wide selection of products and services to choose from. Sarah is fantastic at color and cuts and if you are looking to get extensions ask for Chris. This is the only place i trust and no matter what city i move to i will always make the drive to get my hair done here!

TLDR; I think the salon is good/fine, but don't book with Gity! The experience was terrible and since they contract the stylists the owners couldn't do anything about it. I've really procrastinated in writing this review, just because my experience left such a sour taste in my mouth. I requested a woman's cut and color ombre (and sent a reference photo of my hair). I was booked with Gity and she quoted me $150. I showed her a picture of what I wanted (dark at the top down to a warm/golden color) with a 1-2 inch trim and face-framing pieces. She said it wouldn't be a problem. Long story short, I ended up with uneven, blotchy, highlights. At the end she asked if i still wanted a trim (um yes?) and she rushed through it. I didn't say anything because she took 4 hours (even though she told me we'd take far far less), the salon was closing and I thought "maybe i just need to get used to it". In retrospect, I should have been furious that what I got wasn't even close to what i asked for. She told me it would be a really easy / cheap fix that I could do myself and that made me even more upset because (1) I shouldn't have to and (2) it WAS NOT an easy or cheap fix. Plus, because she used so much bleach (which she shouldn't have used in the first place) she charged me $200 instead of $150. I went to another stylist while on vacation for the holidays (who's an expert on color) and he was absolutely HORRIFIED at the state of my hair and the distribution of highlights. So I had to pay another $80 for him to make it look better (which took THREE HOURS), but due to all the bleach i couldn't get what i originally wanted. Luckily he did an amazing job. I told Harlo and State what happened and they were really apologetic and offered a refund. BUT, then the stylist got involved and told me it was my fault and I was being mean for telling them what happend and that I lied? Since they contract the stylists, the owners couldn't do anything about it. The stylist refunded the $50 extra that she charged me but refused to do anything else, and this was AFTER she argued with me back and forth telling me how I wrong I was (I don't argue with people). The salon offered me a gift card for $150 worth of their products, but i didn't want to accept it because it was Gity's fault, not theirs. Anyway, I've attached reference photos. The salon was sweet but no matter what you do DONT book with Gity. I will never go back or recommend them just because of this experience.

Really nice salon and people. I went in after not having dyed my hair in over a year. I communicated to my stylist that while I did love being blonde, I was now wishing to embrace my natural color and continue growing it out. She only seemed to understand the first part, and decided to use semi permanent dye. She waited until she had mixed the dye and was beginning to foil before she told me, otherwise I would have reiterated that I want something permanent as I grow out my hair. Regardless, she assured me- and assured me again- that she was using a developer that would make it last just as long as permanent dye. Her saying that satisfied my doubt. But... it only lasted 2 shampoos before there was significant fading. I was really bummed with the outcome because it looked so good at first. When I called about this, she seemed to have misinterpreted everything I had said during our initial appointment, essentially brushing off my concerns. I understand why there could have been miscommunication, but I'm not sure how I could have been more clear either. Just a precaution to other clients- be VERY clear, VERY clear. And make sure the dye is permanent.. otherwise it's really like flushing money down the toilet. first pic is before, second is immediately after, third is 4 shampoos/3 weeks later.
