I recently had the pleasure of participating in an auction at the General Auction Company, and I cannot speak highly enough of my experience. This auction house is truly exceptional, and I highly recommend it to both buyers and sellers. The General Auction Company boasts a team of knowledgeable and professional staff who are experts in their field. They provided excellent customer service throughout the entire auction process, from registration to payment and item pickup.

Sadly They just don’t deal very well with people ?once YOUR $ R in there hands & WILL KEEP TAKING MONEY ?FROM UR BANK ACCOUNT w the card on file…&&& will not respond to u 4u to pick up your items that r paid for so u can end up losing them. ? B70/G30% on Trust now & kinda sad to have sent friends to them. Notice how NO1 from GAC responds Quickly to YOUR COMPLAINTS? Not a total loss but not very helpful towards you.

I used to like this place when it was in Buena Park , CA . Until I got familiar of how they operate. They claim to send your check for an item you sold 30 days after it sold. Which is a long period to wait anyways. I took a big joe electric pallet jack that is worth from $2,000 to $3,000 . Supposedly it only sold for $285. They never emailed me the invoice. They told me it sold July 7th, I brought it in June and still have not received my check. I have called them and emailed them multiple times. Also they are very rude and assume the customer is the problem. Sell your stuff online instead. Sometimes they will delay payment, or in my case not pay at all. Also they buy stuff to re sell in their auctions, shady business. And supposedly they say there is no reserve.

Assume that anything you buy there does NOT work and you are using it for parts or salvage. Unless and unquestionably it states that the item works 100% as new, dont even think think it works somewhat. If you win and complain about the item, you will get a call from somebody named Geosephy letting you know that it is your fault for assuming that the item was in working order or in better shape that it actually is. If you ask for more pictures, questions, or clarifications, you will not get any type of response. Assume that the item is as worst as it gets and if you are fine with that, go ahead and bid. If you "win" a bid then be ready to wait at least an hour to get your item if not longer, this is if you make an appointment, not sure how much longer it is without an appointment.

This place is a joke. They charge you a $20 storage fee plus a 14% charge for any purchases that you make. That’s ridiculous. Pretty much if you spend $6000 you gonna have to pay an $840 fee that goes to them.. that doesn’t even include the state taxes that you have to pay plus the DMV fees so that’s like another $600.. in total for a $6000 purchase you’re going to end up paying like.. almost 7500.. make sure you know what you’re doing before you purchase something from them you don’t wanna get caught up paying all these extra fees.. not really worth it

It was set up nice And the people that work there were friendly Where friendly. The big negative though is it had rained and they did bother the Tarp any of the merchandise There will several pallets of clothing I was gonna bid on but they were soaking wet Now that's just pure laziness or stupidity .

This place has gone down , hill customer service used to be acceptable and that was only because Chris kitto was working there . How could you let one of the top employees go ???? He handled all my needs with PROFESSIONAL curticy , and with no mistakes always working hard working up a sweat. Several of us customers would comment on how he ran circles around everyone .. .Should have been running the place it's just not the same .. PS I TOOK MY $ And business elsewhere. And so did others.. I hope chris is doing well HE WAS THE BEST !!!!!!!!

They are dishonest. The description on the pallet/lots is misleading. I ended up with a lot of shoes with no pairs to them and empty boxes. The workers even admit to stealing or going through the pallets to get the good items. This is not the first time items are missing from the pallets. Another issues is the transparency for the items they sell, they will sell you broken items/trash and that is nowhere to be found in the item description. If something is broken and beyond repair it should no be put up for sale thats just a SCAM. This is the only bad auction house I have encountered. The one in lancaster, sylmar are great places to buy. If something is broken, missing parts they will let you know in the description. Stay away from buena park unless you went and inspected the items youre going to bid on, take pictures! Items go missing after pallets are sold!

Monica that works in the Office is Extremely helpful & Nice! She deserves ?????FiVE STARSBe sure to check the items you purchase. Closely Verify that EVERYTHING ON the invoice IS What's BEING BROUGHT OUT TO YOU. ( someone may accidently switch your items for an older version)PAY close ATTENTION TO THE DETAILS (Lot #'s,Brand,model#,etc....SmfhEx: If I bid on & Win Two Sony speakers, when I pick them up I would expect just that. Not to find that there's only one Sony speaker, and some old rusty off brand that you can barely even read the Brand....Also I've been waiting for the difference of the $200 i paid for registration on a van i purchased months ago. I contacted them but haven't heard anything yet.
