My pharmacist apparently is not getting his requests for my prescription refills for anti-seizure medication returned. I'd like to think about things other than trying to get referrals approved, apparent inability to have medical records considered by REDLANDS COMMUNITY HOSPITAL and other issues that led to my walking out of the hospital discussed timely nor getting appointments with providers within reasonable timeframes. They simply seem overcrowded and unconcerned with the customer experienced. On lowering standards including medical college admissions tests, see this posted yesterday: And since they couldn't find contact information for OPTUM corporate when my wife and I asked for it, consider several posters on the walls of their waiting rooms including this one for complaints tot he licensing authority: 800-633-2322

FYI - Redlands Optum lab hours at 2 West Fern Avenue are now 7 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday only. This information is not posted on Optum's website, but is printed on the doors to the building. As I mentioned in my review of Redlands Advantage, since Optum acquired Beaver Medical Group, primary care providers (and to a much lesser extent, other specialists) are maintaining more patients, wait times for appointments are longer, and services have reduced hours (the lab used to be open at 5 am). Optum is itself owned by UnitedHealth Group (UHG), a for-profit corporation that returned $14.8 billion to shareholders in 2023, in large part by adding over a million new patients. Source:

I was reluctant to get my mammogram done here after reading all the negative reviews. My experience was much different. I encountered nothing but friendly staff. I arrived 20 minutes early and they took me in right away. Don't let others experience persuade you to not give them a try.

I have always received the best care here. The staff is professional and the doctors wonderful. Far better than the laughable quacks at the Boulder office. You go to that place with a concussion and they give you an aspirin and say, " Get plenty of sleep..."

Came down from Big Bear today to have my first appointment with Dr Wallea. What a great guy, He is friendly and concerned about all my little issues and took lots of time to talk with me. He was very relaxed and truly interested in listening to me. I think I found a winner!

Don't know what is going on with them, I can't get to talk to them anymore, I tried calling them many times today and the longest hold time was over an hour til I gave up by using other phone; I was transferred many times waiting and waiting, end up nowhere. If they're not able to handle the recent business growth they should hire more staff. Obviously they don't care about their patients, left out patients without medical needs.

let me start off by saying the experience I’ve had at the urgent care and with the obgyn has been great … but i came in to see a PA today by the name of Susan Pak about a new medical condition and the whole visit was a joke . She seemed “not there” and so uninterested in what I was saying . I had so many questions and left the office still clueless about how to manage this condition in my everyday life. If you are going to schedule here I’d recommend shying away from being booked with this specific PA .

My primary physician ( Dr Blackmon) and her team her phenomenal ! She is very knowledgeable, responsive to patient needs and provides superior care! Also Dr Jung is outstanding! On the other hand, some other office locations and particularly the support staff often seem to put some of their responsibility for follow up with other vendors ( I.e, medical equipment, etc back onto the patient fot follow t

0 stars! This place is complete trash! I've had the worst experience here during my pregnancy and postpartum care. Canceled appointments, arguments with staff, delays in paperwork, and so many more issues. This facility and its employees are a joke! It seems to be all about money rather than health care.

I go to an Optum doctor for a consult to get a colonoscopy. She approves it, says I'll get notified about an appointment. Doesn't happen, so I call Optum for an appt. They hang up on me. I call back, and get switched to another number where I have to leave a message. They don't call back. My wife STILL can't get a colonoscopy. That's Optum for you.

Just a horrible doctor experience. Waited over 2 months for an appointment just to finally get called the day of my appointment to tell me that I'm not covered?!? Then when my wife calls and yells at them I get called back and told it was a mistake because there system is messed up. Then I just try and get my medication refilled for my psoriasis cream that I've been well established taking and Dr Gupta decides she want to try something else that I've already tried and doesnt work. Just a plain horrible doctor experience. They try to make everything as difficult as they can make it. I'm changing my doctor asap!

They are a nightmare. I've been a patient for over 40 years at Beaver, and now I'm searching for a new medical center.

The management of Beaver Medical group by Optum is the reason I will seek a new health care provider ASAP. Optum has, via United Healthcare, completely screwed up everything that was a reason to go to Beaver for care. Utilization review has taken over medical decision making, billing frequently loses track of co pays, and Doctors are in a revolving door so let's not talk about continuity of care. Loma Linda may be a little nutty about their health beliefs, but at least you can get normal care there. Optum is great if you dont need care and want to contribute to supporting their failed system.

I have to say I am more than pleased With Optum. I guess it really depends on which Physician you are using, and I have to Totally recommend Pei-yuen Tang, as a very caring doctor, that listens to her patient, and attempts to answer all questions. You will not feel rushed in any manner, and feel she is very truthful with her answers. If you are able to request her as your primary , I think you will be pleased. The building is big, and a little confusing when you walk in. The receptionist will give you direction as to where to go, after you have given her your name. I hope your experience is as good as mine. Thankful you are there Dr Tang.!!
