Ordered goods for 75 USD + 50 USD 3 day express shipping in the online shop. That was almost three weeks ago. A DHL representative confirms a shipping label was created and they wait for the actual goods. So does their own online shop. So does the DHL tracking chatbot. Problem is: banned skate shop claims the goods are shipped and that DHL must be the problem. It's a challenge to reach somebody there (e-mail, instagram, chat, ...). First I thought this must be a scam. But then why create the DHL express label (50 USD) and not just keep that money too? I guess it's just a matter of professionalism / industriousness. It still cost me 125 USD, no matter if this is a conscious scam or just a little bit of chaos on the side of this shop.

I made an online order (#7743) on 21 June and till now the shipping status have remained the same. I called DHL and was told that it wasn’t even picked up. I emailed and left messages on their socials but have not gotten a single reply. Hell, I even called the shop and spoke to an employee by the name of Charles twice. It seems that you have no intention of honoring my order. I don’t think they are a scam but they definitely have a serious customer service and order fullfillment issue. Very disappointing :(

Looking for a specific DGK skateboard, and found one for a good price, and promo code for free shipping at this place. Came in good timing I guess. But that's not the issue and the reason for the 2 stars. The reason for the two stars is when I finally opened the box and carefully removed the skateboard; upon seeing the amazing graphic DGK artwork, I noticed the skateboard looked like it had been used and stored in a dusty storage area-uncover. The grip tape was dirty, the bottom deck had wheel bite and other scratches as though it had been tested and ridin before. The trucks where supposed to be mini logo, but I saw no indication of this. The trucks were dusty af, and the banned wheels brand felt cheap. While I did a good job covering the dings and scratches with stickers (self-pat on the back), and I can easily change out the crappy trucks and wheels; for $100 I expected much better product. I sent them an email stating this, but haven't heard anything back, and asked if this was a used product or did I miss the description anywhere on the site. If I didn't have the intermediate skills to make this skateboard look better than it did, when I received it, I would've probably sent it back, and demanded a full refund. I unfortunately wont be buying from them again. I am not saying this is a horrible or a scam business, but I am giving my experience (since this is my first, and now only purchase from Banned). But buyers beware, your product my not come as pictured, and you may not get a response if you reach out. If they don't fix their business practices, they should be banned from doing business (pun intended).

I give them 5 out of 5!! I'm happy with my order from the board down to the trucks and wheels. Also, great service i ordered my first board EVER 4 days ago and got it today. They're freaky fast.. i highly recommend giving your business to BANNED. I for sure will be looking forward for my next order. Stay Poppin

My story is very similar to most of the reviews on here. Purchased an order, roughly $70, was sent confirmation that my order had been received and that I had paid an extra $10 for priority shipping. Literally never received another communication so far. It's been 2 weeks. Emails aren't responded to, the phone is disconnected. I reached out through facebook, through google, and three Instagram today. If they get a hold of me and I get my wheels, I'll raise the rating, if not it's going to be a one star like almost every other of you. Seems like this has been something of a pattern for up to four years. I build custom boards as a hobby and sell them with no markup, so I'm constantly dealing with tiny skate shops all over the country to get specific parts, and this is abnormal.

I URGE ANYONE READING THIS NOT TO GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO THIS PLACE! If you are BIPOC or LGBT+ I would consider not supporting this place. The owner Carlos is not only a racist but also a misogynist and homophobic. Doesn't pay workers properly, pays them under the table so he avoids taxes, talks down on employees, belittles and treats you like you're d**** makes offensive "jokes" and then tells you to get over it. Please support another small business before coming here. If you're considering taking skate lessons, there's currently no instructor so don't pay for skate lessons because you won't get the package and you won't get your money back. There's no one working to actively take orders and if you order something from here it's not even organized to the point where he knows what's in inventory so the item isn't even in the shop and he has to contact the company directly to get it sent to the shop first..so you're looking for a long wait time and that's even if he checks the email and sends the order (read old reviews a lot of people either get their shipment months late or not at all)... a whole mess... I rather order online at Pharmacy or support a local that actually cares about the community and human kindness in general. Update *** 3 weeks later and Carlos Reis has not paid me my wages for working here and I'm banned from being able to pick up my check from this place??

Unorganized facility I pay for 2nd day air shipping they give me ground asked for 2 sheets of grip and was missing in order also asked for 8.5 twin tail and they gave me 8.38 even made fun when I said braille skateboards measurements are even correct don’t know how it is for locals but online ordering a big NO NO

I don't even know if this place is still in business, since their first location in Redlands closed, but I went there years ago looking for some hip pads after getting bruised up in a pipe in Upland. The owner couldn't be more of an a****** than was/is. He told me I was too old to skate and would break a hip. This when I was 33 years old and that duschebag is older than me, so maybe he'll be the one to break a hip himself. Wouldn't bother me in the least. What kind of person even does that? To say some crazy s*** to someone they don't even know and turn away business like that because they felt like being an a******* Well apparently Carlos Reis is that kind of low life piece of crap. I walked out without buying anything there would never go back and buy anything from that guy. Skateboarding is better off without a low life shitty guy such as Carlos who doesn't even care about the people he trys to sell his overpriced s*** to. I wouldn't give him any stars if I could because a zero is all he deserves.

Not sure if the guy working there was having a bad day but he didn’t even acknowledge us Or offered to help us find the items we were looking for. I don’t think I’ll be returning here anymore.

The staff are Chill a.f, they offer skate lessons and have a chill half pipe in the back of the shop. Lots of cool merch, plenty of decks to fot your needs and all the gear you need to hook your deck up.
