Brittany in the cosmetics/beauty/lotions/etc. Dept. went above and beyond to help me find the items I needed. She had suggestions and knowledge about products and I am so grateful to have had her there when walking in. So patient, personable, kind and professional. That girl deserves a raise! Walgreens is lucky to have her. Seriously. I've worked in customer service all my life and I know a keeper when I see one.

After a long life for the first time i was refused service anywhere in a store ever. i attempted to buy a $500 gift card for my wife . I was asked some personal questions that went beyond proper. A series of them. i have had a lecture about how these cards are used in scams. Store clerk Rachel asked several excessive questions. Why am i buying the cards who for and where was she and more plus a not so dignified lecture in front customers. i am a gentleman and polite to working people. i have ten years of post grad work advanced degrees and licences have researched published taught chemistry and physics worked at a proton accelerator microbiologist and have a competency in recombinant DNA. Rachel treated me like a derelict. She lacks the personality and intellect to work with the public. Without competent training she will never ever work successfully in management. How what she did qualifies as helping and servicing me a regular customer escapes me. Customer service apologized profusely to me. That is unnecessary, Rachel should apologize and then be sacked I have never walked out of a store admonished embarassed treated like garbage.

Avoid this pharmacy. All the reviews are spot on. I recently moved to town and had my prescription sent here. The first time I picked up, I waited in line in-store for 40 minutes for 5 people in front of me, then another 40 minutes after being helped for the pharmacist to "verify the prescription" (whatever that means since it had been ready for pick up for a week). All I watched the pharmacist do was take 3 phone calls before taking its clip off the top of the bag.Last week I initiated a refill request online. It showed as processing for four days, and then suddenly was closed out and "no refills in progress" listed on my dashboard. So I called Sunday to initiate the refill verbally and was told it would be ready Monday at 10. Wednesday I went to pick it up, this is what the drive thru looked like. After finally reaching the window (an hour waiting), I was told I'd need to come back. I mentioned I got an email saying it was ready, and was very harshly answered "Well it's not so you can come back tomorrow at 11. Right now we're 14,000 prescriptions behind and yours is one of them so you can come back tomorrow and it'll be ready." I'm sure they deal with a lot of impatient customers than myself so remain on the defense, but the attitude would be very jarring if you were someone stressed and in desperate need of your medication (luckily I was not). Also how does Walgreens allow a location to backlog 14,000 prescriptions? I'll happily send my prescriptions to Target as an excuse to go shopping...however wanted to warn others to save them the same headache, especially for very important medications! :)

The WORST pharmacy. I've been waiting a week for my seizure medication to be ready and when i called i got hung up on twice. Then I go down to the pharmacy and they make up excuses that they've been running behind because there's so many orders yet my prescription has been in progress for a week. If i have a seizure waiting for my medication because walgreens wont do their job on time I will sue Walgreens.

Worst ran Walgreens in history. Corporate needs to audit this location. Largest lines in history trying to get medications. They're so unhelpful. Always mixing up prescriptions and making things extremely difficult. There's a line of 10+ people here currently and everybody is dealing with the unprofessionalism and people are dealing with serious health issues. Avoid this location like the plague. They will waste so much of your time. It's 2:15pm and the pharmacy window hasn't even opened up from lunch yet. We are wasting hours of our time trying to pick up a simple prescription.

WORST Pharmacy ever! Every time I go to pick up a prescription for my mom it's a wait. I mean a LONG wait. When you get to the window, the staff wander around ignoring you or only part of your order has been filled. Last time I went there I was told only one medication was ready but if I came back in an hour the other would be finished for sure. I went back after calling to confirm the `script had been filled and got put on hold for 17 minutes! I waited in line so long I was in a dark mood when I got to the window and was told that the Pharmacist was running a little behind but I was welcome to wait! Long story short, I waited another 30 minutes before the girl motioned me over and told me that I needed to have a consult before they would give me the meds... I had to go stand in another line for 28 minutes for the Pharmacist to say, looks like your mom has been taking this for quite a while now so nothing has changed... She sent me back around the corner to stand in line for another 15 minutes! This is absolutely ridiculous. If this place can't fill the orders and check people out in a more efficient manner, the management needs to be replaced and new people added to the staff who CAN do their jobs. Lots of folks are looking for jobs right now, fired these incompetent slackers! Definitely changing Pharmacies, my time is valuable!

This store is fine, they get the star. The pharmacy is the biggest circus of blind legless dogs I've ever seen. I don't even want to blame the workers. The pharmacist is rude, can't be bothered to do anything for anyone EVER! don't let them tell you your prescription is ready, it won't be. Then when it finally is if the pharmacist needs to look at it she'll make 10 phone calls and fill 5 other bottles before she even looks at your prescription that is RIGHT THERE.... IN THE BAG.... READY TO SELL. joke

This pharmacy is horrible. The drive up takes forever whether there are two or ten vehicles in line. It isn't any better inside the store. The pharmacists are slow, and several times my prescriptions have had to be put through twice because they are "stuck" somewhere in their system.

The pharmacy staff at this location is so unprofessional and disorganized. I was used to a long wait time when I lived in Chico but this Redding location is going for a record on how slow they are and how often they screw up. Scanning your prescriptions in the app gets you nowhere, if you don't need a refill you can be sure they fill that one even after being told countless time you don't need or want it. My RX history is a mess with prescriptions disappearing or not being marked as a regular rx I pick up, so it's "is this new?" No! I've been taking it for years through YOU! And don't bother calling them, the phone rings and rings then hold music for 10 mins then someone picks up and immediately puts you back on hold and this loops over and over. When confronted with these issues I got the response that I'm not the only one dealing with it so I should just accept it. No how about you hire more staff and get your computer system organized and stop making excuses.

Do not buy diabetes supplies there. 50 test strips cost $100. Anywhere else is $34.99. Just outrageous.

Went in to do a PayPal and was a little frustrated because I got no help, I was standing there while people who work there, even though they were on break, ignored me and walked by me. I finally got one person's attention she said she would get me help but didn't. Got another person's attention was told they're short on staff but it wasn't friendly when she said it so I snapped back and let her know the other person could have told me that. I'm sorry but when I worked for CVS even though I was on break if somebody needed help I would help them that's just proper customer service if you're short staffed you let that person know your short staffed and you don't be rude about it. If you don't like your job don't work there that's what I have to say and if you want to be moody don't take it out on your customers!!so Ive never had such a s***** experience there as I did today!!!! I truly hope those girls get a better attitude with their other customers and if I go in again and they treat me crappy again I'll be calling your guys's company to let them know their names and how s***** of customer service they give!

Where do I even begin with this location. First let's start with the Positive. The staff that work at this location are actually very kind. There were two young ladies that were working behind the desk and they did everything they could to help you. I was having a very hard time finding certain items inside this location because they were not placed on the counter where they were supposed to be. The staff here acknowledge they had made a mistake and the two young ladies did everything they could to help me find it. But unfortunately, the negatives have to be explained about this place as well. It was completely disgusting inside the store. There was trash and sticky substance taste all over the floor. There were so much bottle caps and other unbelievable things on the counters it really made it uncomfortable to shop at this location. I am very glad I only needed to purchase a few items I was super happy to get out of this location. But they do have my favorites asked to purchase. They're super small but I love him so much
